Glad we avoided you in the Semis. Look at the state of your run to the final though. Very kind is an understatement!

Bernado again. Poor first half by his standards but what a player. Surely a future Balon D'Or winner. Can't believe we got him for 40-odd million and Sane for 37!

Indeed. On paper, we should do it comfortably, but then you think of our visit to the South coast in the last game of last season, and it took until the last kick of the game for Jesus to secure the 100 points!

Let's see we what the FA do about that video that has been doing the rounds today.
I won't hold my breath - you just know they are going to do **** all.

Absolutely shocking - City players celebrating a title win by singing. Whatever next?
Perhaps you might like to enlighten us with what the FA would find so shocking about the song and what suitable punishment might be? Maybe they should all be sacked along with Danny Baker.

I think they’ll rightly be more concerned about UEFA dumping them out of the CL.

Maybe they were singing about the time their bus got battered...by Liverpool fans?
But lets just ignore that because it doesn't fit the victim narrative

What events cause you to describe Liverpool fans as having a “victim narrative”?

Simply Adam’s latest moan, I don’t believe I referenced Liverpool - only their/your(?) fans?
What ‘events’ are you alluding to?

You are clearly referring to Liverpool fans in your comment, so again why would you refer to a victim narrative? Genuinely curious.

I think you mean why would I refer to a victim narrative when quoting one of Adam’s Liverpool posts?
How long have you got??
Liverpool lose a game - the ref is corrupt
Man City win the league - they’ve bought the title
A team doesn’t get sanctioned for something - they’ve paid off UEFA
A team sing a song and suddenly the FA need to get involved??
Please.

Let’s make it clear what the song is about.
For a long time opposition fans accused Liverpool fans as being responsible for Hillsborough. Always the victim never your fault. In no other way have Liverpool been victims in anything else in the last 30 years so there is literally nothing else this can refer to when you use it against Liverpool fans
There were no Liverpool fans lying battered in the streets at Kiev. The song clearly refers to Sean Cox who was beaten into a coma outside Anfield. Again, no other incident it can possibly refer to.
My thoughts on the song. It’s just a bad taste song and City are strictly small time apart from the money. No need for anybody else to get involved. The issue I have is that it was PLAYERS singing it , not fans, and the City official response was pathetic. Apologise and move on, that’s what most adults would do.

Yeah I think you have missed MY point. I was responding to Adam’s post and it’s familiar tone, not to Liverpool football club or all its fans.
I couldn’t care less what you or anyone else has done in the past.
If every team Adam has pointed the finger at this season was punished Liverpool would have a pretty easy ride as they would all be docked points, removed from every competition and be placed under transfer bans.
If a rational football fan had posted a grievance with the City song, I wouldn’t have even replied. This is simply the latest example in a (very) long list of him taking umbrage about perceived unfair treatment of Liverpool - hence me using the word victim, towards him and reflected in the fact I quoted HIM.

Fair enough, that’s a reasoned response. The use of the word victim is aimed at us by fans of other teams because of the response it gets from our fans, that’s why I generally react when people use it.
