Happy enough with the changes & that front three. It could be great or absolutely terrible! Wouldn't have minded a few 1st teamers on the bench just in case top spot is on offer with 10 minutes to go.
EDIT: Great to see Debuchy back!

I thought Podolski's WALLOP was good, but Rambo just bettered it!

Great performance in the end, even if it turned out to be not enough for first. Ramsey's second goal was one of the strikes of the season, an absolute stunner. Hope it means he's on his way back.
We'll see come Monday how costly dropping those points at home to Anderlecht will be. Monaco and Porto are about the only 'good' draws, which means we'll get Barcelona (if they finish first) or Bayern again.

Kos & Monreal injured & Chambers banned. This is going to get very messy! Ramsey also out.

Can only imagine it'll be a back four of Gibbs-BFG-Debuchy-Bellerin... Midfield will definitely need to help out.

I think we should go with 1 keeper, 2 strikers and 8 creative/attacking midfielders and just try and out score them.

Ha. Weirdly, if Ramsey's out for four weeks, we might even struggle for 8 attacking midfielders!

Thought we did alright, I liked Giroud's 2nd, thought Santis' penalty was nice and Debuchy was ok in defense.
Not sure about the ref though.
Sanchez gets kicked a lot but doesn't get much for it.
Niall Quinn - just a little biased ? Didn't like his commentary at all.

Always seems to be the case. More frustrating when you see the fouls we pick up yellows for in comparison.
Couple of wins on the bounce now and a week off before the next match so hopefully we'll do alright over the festive period

CL draw at 11am. What do we all reckon then? Bayern or Barcelona?

Best draw we could have hoped for. They only scored four goals in the group stage, where Porto were free-scoring. Definitely better than Juventus too, who we'd have got if we won the group!

Happy with Monaco, don't think anyone is anything than that.
Not happy with the talk that if we want to buy someone in January we need to sell, Podolski and Campbell are the prime suspects but is there anywhere else we could trim the fat? Its not like we are inundated with players that could command a price that will make a difference, I don't think that Diaby or Rosicky will get too many takers, maybe Arteta if we get a holding midfielder who will cement the first team spot

Big game today. You'd imagine Liverpool will want to come fast out of the blocks to try and replicate last season, and it'll just be a case of whether we can deal with that better than we did at Stoke a couple of weeks back. Should be able to score against that defence, but wouldn't be surprised to see a high-scoring draw...

Very disappointed that we didn't hold on to the win, but have to be honest & say that we didn't deserve to. Too many poor performances all over the pitch, but Ox's passing is becoming a bit of a worry. Giroud got a good goal, but gifted Liverpool the lead & nearly gifted them another late on. If Debuchy has to play CB again, then I'd like to see Bellerin given another go at RB rather than Chambers.

Not sure Ox was 100% fit today and was more playing out of a need to have a central midfielder...
Frustrating not to hold on, but saw that equaliser coming when we fell back and put on Monreal. Just had no out-ball (especially with Giroud off) and it's very hard to see out almost ten minutes of injury time like that. Happy with the point though as I think our performance was potentially even worse than our performance in the 5-1!

Stupidity from both Giroud & the ref turned what should have been a walk in the park into another nail biting last 10 mins. I felt sure that with all the stats saying QPR had no chance that we were heading for a fall, so I'll happily take the 3 points.

Yeah, big win in the end when it should have just been a comfortable one. Not the greatest to be going into two tricky away games (West Ham and Southampton) without Giroud though. Only one form of attack. Wonder if Podolski will get a game? He scored a brace against the Hammers last season/earlier this year.
