More a Curbishley

It was only in jest, not much thought went into it! Every managerial appointment probably has a success rate of less than 50% - it’s quite frankly luck as to whether you end up with someone who works at your club.

He certainly won’t be worse than David Moyes, or anywhere near as bad. Will be interesting to see how he does.

He finished 7th, but the previous season Utd finished as Champions by 12 points. So if you happy finishing around 12/13th this season then that’s the Moyes effect.

Arsenal will be impossible to predict for the first half of the season at least.

Spotted when driving into work this morning. I overtook him so I hope he saw my Newcastle United sticker. Only way we'll be in front of Arsenal this season.

Is it just me or is the blood soaked kit in seriously bad taste?

Huge knife crime problem in the shadow of the ground.

I guess that it is stating the obvious, but clearly we are going to win the league.

We seem serious about getting AMN. He seemed alright today at LWB.

Do Arsenal fans rate him highly?

Yes we do, we'd love to keep him. He appeared too casual when he first came onto the scene, but has really proved his worth. Hope that you don't get him (no offence)

He had another good game today. We could do with him now Doherty is on his way to Tottenham (The fact he's a huge Arsenal fan is amusing).

I'm surprised no-one has commented on the Leeds fiasco.
Never a great fan of Pepe, who is average at best, his ridiculous head butt and Arteta's reaction should mean the end of him at the club. I can only hope.

In fact, looking at the whole team this season, I just can't get excited. So many average to poor players make us look very very second rate. I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up well down in the bottom half of the league.
