Odd game really, especially in the first half where we had no tempo, but excellent second half capped by Bellerin's cracking strike. NLD next, can never tell how they'll go. At least we've now finally won three league games in a row this season!

1-0 up at half time, Ozil with a neat finish. Definitely gone the Man City away route, but Spurs are pressing constantly. Next goal is huge.

Shame he was offside ( as replays clearly showed ) - must be using 5he same linesmen from the Bolton v Liverpool game on Wednesday

Must be seeing different replays to me! Eric Dier was playing him on.
Irrelevant in the end as just couldn't deal with Harry Kane in second half. Disappointing result, but just one point behind. Expect Southampton and United to pull clear this afternoon though.

Clearly showed? Haha!!!! He was marginally offside, but at that pace, hard to be certain he was off.

Very disappointing result, especially after having played so well recently. Need to get back on it & try to put together a decent run. Fight for top 4 is going to be very interesting this year, shame Southampton grabbed that injury time winner.

Has Pearson definitely been sacked?

It seemed that way, although now no-one is quite sure it appears!
Edit - Just been confirmed that Pearson is still manager. Not that it makes our chances of a slip-up any less likely, mind.

Well, last night was painful watching for the second half. Got the win in the end and that's what matters, but it was a great chance to make up goal difference on Southampton after being 2-0 up at half time, despite not really playing *that* well.
Hopefully the injuries to Alexis and Ramsey aren't too bad.

Wenger didn't sound too optimistic on the Ramsey injury after the game. Two woeful performances in a row& after we'd been playing so well for a month or so to. Need to really improve with the CL re-starting soon.

Also seems to coincide with Carzola's influence waning. Has his position changed?

He seemed to be playing in the middle last night with Ozil on the wing, but pretty much everyone in the front five are flexible often. Cazorla was arguably our best player overall last night and the only one to do anything of note attacking-wise in the second half.
Last night's problem was Alexis just not being himself after being clattered by Upson. Without anyone to hold it up front, there wasn't any combination play at all.

Got the FA Cup to worry about first! Play like we did last night and we could be Middlesbrough's next Cupset.

Palace away can be a tough fixture, so very happy with the 3 points. A shame we conceded late on, but at least it wasn't 10 minutes earlier! Up to 3rd for the time being anyway

Odd game...
Started off and it seemed like you'd batter them...
Now you seem like you've gone to pot. Some of your basic passing is shoddy and is being easily picked off.
Your balance didn't seem right, with Wellbeck and Giroud on.
That goal from the Ox may be your lifeline.
Or not.

Poor decision making from Wenger or the players ... given how bad Arsenal were they should have settled for 1-2, which would have given them a chance, not go gung-ho looking for a 2nd with 2 minutes to go.

Wasn't Wenger's fault.
That was the players going for it. But we were guilty of the same thing when we were 3-0 up at Palace.
We went gung ho and paid for it.

Not sure we'd have even deserved to get out of there with just a 2-1 loss tbh. When you manage to make Berbatov look like he wants it more than you, there's no way back! Part of me thinks that because we've no chance of winning the CL anyway, no harm in going out early, but it's the psychological effect of not being able to at least still be in the tie after the first leg.
