Damn you! More money spent on games that I wasn't planning.
In all seriousness, there is a lot of value here. You're effectively getting seven copies of the game, so you could easily give some away to use as a gateway for others.

Not a current Kickstarter but finally got my copy of Myth yesterday, which funded April last year. It's been a bit of an ordeal getting to this point with production and shipping issues and problems with the rulebook but the delivered components are top notch and holy crap you got an obscene about of miniatures for the money. Hopefully there's a decent game here

I'm in too. Lots of value in this one with the different decks.

I played it earlier today using an improvised deck made from Uno cards. It's hard work to keep track of the different cards with all the swapping going on and gives your brain a workout but it is a great laugh. Well worth backing and great news that it has hit the target.

Great review. So great it has just cost me £15.58! Please don't write anymore.

Glad it caused you to part with some dosh! It's a beaut. Find anywhere that does anything other than the Pears deck?

So, I completely missed the fact that there was a kickstarted sequel / expansion for One Night Ultimate Werewolf! - Daybreak.
ON:UW is one of my favourite games. Missed out on backing this but will be picking it up as soon as it's available.

It looks like my Kickstarter copy of Luchador will arrive early but I'm still waiting for Escape - Zombie City that was due last month.

Aye. I got an email about Luchador tonight too. Though some comments on KS are indicating that copies have been spotted already in Waterstones. Looks like the developer have sent copies to retail ahead of the KSer copies. I knew they were taking some to Essen, but not flogging them on the high street.

An apology from the Luchador publishers about the in store arrivals prior to KS backers, plus a dispatching soon notification. Looking forward to this one
I backed it on your recommendation Steve whilst scoffing food in the hospital canteen the day after my daughter was born ... She's now nearly 6 months old

Bah, I hate that "on you recommendation" bit in case it's crap! It does look fun though so fingers crossed (I have the first edition but haven't played it enough to judge really). A belated congratulations on the birth of your daughter by the way. And you expect to still have time for board gaming? ;-)
I'm not too bothered about it being on sale in shops before receiving my Kickstarter edition as we do have the extra meeple, etc, but I am annoyed that they've decided to upgrade all the orders for the cheaper level up edition to the full second edition. Although I have the first edition I didn't want to wait the extra time for the level up version so I paid the extra and as it turns out I could have paid $10 less for the full thing delivered just as early.

Thanks for the recommendation. My son (and I) will love it I'm sure.
Thanks for the congrats too. I'm getting plenty of time to game now she's sleeping a bit better and the feeds leave me time to catch up with tabletop

My copy of Luchador arrived yesterday, although I've yet to play it. Worryingly though, plenty of people in the UK seem to have received their copies of Escape - Zombie City, but I haven't got mine yet.

No, I just got the standard version from the link in your review. It arrived this morning so I'm looking forward to trying it out later.
I'm a touch disappointed with the package. It is a little bare bones coming in an unfortunately shattered clear plastic deck box only consisting of the cards and a card-sized rules sheet that tells you to visit the website for the full instructions and rules for the variants. Surely it at least comes in some kind of proper box or cardboard sleeve for bricks and mortar retail?
I wouldn't want that to put anyone off getting it though. It still looks to be a really fun and fast paced game and having taken a look at the rules PDF, there are a lot of variants to work through so it should stay reasonably fresh for a long time.

That is disappointing packaging, the KS decks came as normal standard playing card style boxes, with a printed rules sheet for each different deck.
Like you say, it's blazing quick, scales well from 2 to 8, and has loads of variants.

Gameslore now have the regular and two themed decks for just £6.49 and it looks like they actually come in a proper box too instead of just having in small plastic seal around the cards like my deck.
