He basically didn't like that as the Resistance you are forced to pass missions (e.g the resistance would never purposely fail)
Suffice to say he did keep throwing fail cards in when playing as the resistance, which made finding the actual government spies impossible.

Ack. That game is well balanced though, it does not need anything else to tip it in the spies favour!
I brought my brother in for a game of ONU Werewolf but he ruined it too as finds fun in anarchy and wasn't worried about the outcome of the game.

And I've caved and backed this. This is getting scary now as it is the sixth game I've backed since June and I've yet to receive a single one. I think the first one due is Escape: Zombie City in October.

And although I'm on holiday, I connected to wifi, read the latest Little Metal Dog and ended up back this fun looking collection of micro games.

The latest Kickstarter project from Queen Games looks a little familiar:
Orcs Orcs Orcs from Queen Games:
Castle Panic:

I keep scouring KS, but nothing there is taking my fancy over the past few months.
I'm wavering on Bomb Squad but I just can't get that excited by it unfortunately!

I'm staying away from Kickstart as much as possible for a bit. Since I started looking at it for board games in June I've backed Luchador! Mexican Wrestling Dice, Harbour, Escape - Zombie City, 27th Passenger: A Hunt On Rails, The Resistance - Hostile Intent and Hidden Agenda, Fidelitas, Pack O Game, and have Yardmaster Express to come through the forum group buy.
None have arrived or are even due yet.

Nice collection!
It's always worth backing companies with a track record of delivery. Any in there that you're nervous about?

I'm new to the whole Kickstarter thing to be honest, but I don't doubt that I'll receive them all eventually. The Luchador! people have upset some people who backed the first edition by releasing a much improved second edition so soon after the first I believe, and there are some details on Queen Games who are producing Escape regarding some issues with an earlier Kickstarter game of theirs earlier on in this thread, but nothing that worries me. Yet.

The Yardmaster Games have been slightly delayed too - to be honest I'm not too worried. Some of the backers are annoyed because he admitted that he's breaking his promise and will sell the games at Essen before the backers get theirs - but I imagine margins must be tight and it's a tough market, so I'm all for whatever he needs to do to make it a success. If it means someone plays the game before us and we get it a month or so late, that's no big deal really.

For me it's Secrets of the Lost Tomb the Cooperative Adventure Game. I've been waiting ages for it.

Progress: Evolution of technology arrived today. No time to have a look at it yet but it seems a rare example of a kickstarter project pretty much going to time with plenty of good communication throughout

Looks great.

Also, the update email I got on Harbour looks superb. Should be here in early 2015.

I should hopefully be receiving my copy of Escape - Zombie City soon. I hope it is different enough from Curse of the Temple to warrant owning both.

There is a new Kickstarter up for a 13 card micro game called I Hate Zombies by the Board Game Geek people. It is only $11 delivered so I'll back it. There is a free print and play version too if anyone wants to try it out first.

Me too. Went for the double tier, as I think it would make a good present.

I don't know. It seems to be the norm with many of the games I've seen listed.
