Kickstarter board games thread
Definitely not cheap!
A sheet of neoprene would do the job wouldn't it?

I liked the sound of it, but $44 is a bit rich for me.

I couldn't resist myself. The premise really appeals to me.
I'll blame you personally now though if the campaign fails.

Could I ask a (probably dumb) question, re Kickstarter programs please...
I just noticed a Kickstarter program for a game that I would have jumped at in a micro second, but I wasn't aware of it...until now
Unfortunately, the Kickstarter program for it finished on July 4th...am I completely out of luck on this?
Thanks

Kickstarter board games thread
It depends on the Kickstarter. A lot have "Slacker Backer" campaigns after the close of the official one. Which one were you looking at?

It was/is this one:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...igital-edition
I have the physical game already, but would love to have a full on digital edition with some cool extras!

They'll do a regular release of the digital version at some point, you'll just lose out on those extras I suppose. I was very tempted to back it myself, but I'd rarely play the tabletop version with it being for just two players. Just ask my unloved copy of Memoir '44.

I really do need to find opportunity to play it. I've had it for about four years and have only played half a game of it.

Hmm, we still haven't played with the official expansion that comes in the box with it!

You need to force people to play it. I don't know anyone who's played it who doesn't love it. Avalon is the edition to go for.

I had one bloke in our group who didn't like it which ruined it for everyone.
He basically didn't like that as the Resistance you are forced to pass missions (e.g the resistance would never purposely fail)
Suffice to say he did keep throwing fail cards in when playing as the resistance, which made finding the actual government spies impossible.

We just have the regular edition. Apparently the two expansions on Kickstarter can be used with Avalon too.

Bah, what an idiot. I wouldn't want to play anything with someone like that.

27th Passenger has hit it's funding level and and now with ten days remaining it's onto the stretch goals.
Another new one on Kickstarter which seems to be reviewing well based on the prototype that I'm going to back is Fidelitas. $28 with UK postage.

He's not a part of our regular group, he played King of Tokyo and liked that but The Resistance wound him up for some reason.
He was also very drunk.
