10% off in a few weeks when much of anything worth buying is right now available for anything from 20%-50% off? You don't consider that a little derisory?

Yes. I said as much above. Though much depends on what price things settle at.

So, Tomb Raider is currently £15.99 on PSN. You'd be mad to buy the disc. IF it's still that price in 2 weeks the 10% is a bonus. Not great, but a bonus.

The problem is that the 10% may or may not be useful depending on when it arrives, what you use it for.

That's why I'm meh about it. Some consumers will gain, some won't.

But then the same applies to free games. A lot of people may have all of them.

I bet that's what most people will end up spending their discount on. No skin off of Sony's nose if they do either.

Like CLH says, it's not a great offer, but derisory? No.

I'm going to wait to see what the January sales - part 2 have to offer, and as long as we all have our discount codes by then, will use it for one of those indie games in the sale most likely.

It's certainly a 'meh' sort of offer but I wasn't really expecting anything much.

I was only off while the attacks were taking place and haven't had any trouble with it since about the 27th.

One thousand times yes. It's worth a download at £40.

I'd highly recommend Tomb Raider at that price.
It was a great game on the last generation and the graphical improvement on the DE are great.

Currently working my way through it on disk.

Plumbed in? Is this the new Water To The Cabinet system? Joking aside I hope you've got an uncapped service coming if you're going to be downloading a lot of digital stuff!

Anyway just to add to the other comments don't hesitate to buy Tomb Raider. Probably my favourite game last year.

Is it a full new game of Tomb Raider, or that last gen one rebooted?

Rejig of the previous Tomb Raider that was out on the PS3 et al.

(I'm assuming Doll isn't asking about Temple Of Osiris here!)

Ah, ok. Played that on 360 last year then. Very good, but don't feel inclined to revisit it.

Showing as Resogun free on cross play for me? Wasn't that the first PSN+ freebie?

It was the first PS+ freebie on the PS4, it's now been released for PS3 and Vita with cross buy, so free if you have the ps4 version

I'm now wondering/hoping that PS4 Metro Redux will turn up as a PSN+ freebie at some point. It was never that expensive when first released, and has seemingly always been cheaper than Knack and Killzone (which seem to be popular guesses as to which "big" title will appear first for free). It also keeps turning up in the PSN sales, too, trying to encourage me to spend my money...

More added to the January sale, don't think there is much of note and the lazy gits who do the blog can't be arsed to show the prices in £
