Astrobots Playroom may look like it’s for kids but it’s rock hard in places.
I’ve not bought the new Spider-Man as I still have the old one to try and play, it’s trying to download a patch (v1.19) but it keeps failing.

Is anyone using speakers like you would for a PC for their PS4. If so what ones and how are you connecting them to the PS4? Thank you

You have three choices:
- Connect speakers to the 3.5mm headphone output on your TV if it has one.
- Use an amp with optical or HDMI input either inbetween the PS4 and the TV or from the TV's HDMI or optical outputs.
- Connect the speakers 3.5mm jack to the socket on the PS4 dual shock controller. You will need to update the sound settings in the PS4 to ensure that all the sound is transmitted to the controller. A big downside is the irritation of having a cable constantly attached to the controller.
There is no way to directly connect speakers to a PS4.

Thank you, greatly appreciated. It will be connected to a monitor so I will be connecting them to it's headphone jack. If anyone has any recommendations please do thank you

Patches for Res. Evil VII, The Last Guardian, Ratchet and Clank and most importantly Bloodborne. Could they have unlocked the frame rates?
Strike that, it seems I’m getting updates from years ago on fresh downloads from less than a month back, why the hell didn’t they download when I first downloaded them?

The January free games have been announced, and I'm really pleased.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Greedfall for PS4. I've almost bought SotTR recently as I love the previous two and its just started to hit the £10 mark second hand, so this is a welcome surprise.
PS5 owners get the play as a shark game, Maneater.

Greedfall is worth playing, its not a AAA game but its nice RPG and I would say its better RPG than Dragon Age Inquisition

Got a PSVR for Christmas, it's amazing! (Never played VR games before).
The immersion of it, already had a few wow gaming moments. I was playing Wipeout Omega Collection tonight and could not believe how good it was, sheer visceral thrills!
Bit late to the VR party but it's given my PS4 Pro a new lease of life.
