That’s a big cut for the digital Ed, a 4kBD drive is only about £20 now, how big is it’s SSD?

Other than the new Spidey game, nothing interested me that much in that presentation. I suspect this will be the first new PlayStation I won’t be purchasing on Day One, which makes me sad.

Is the new Ratchet game, a day-one release?

I had the same thought. I think they must be pricing that at a loss to get the digital sales...

Yeah, the digital version initially seems a great price, until they just announced the price of the day-one games like the Demon Souls remake.... £70!

When I buy a PS5 eventually, it will be the full fat version, so I can buy the disk versions at a much more reasonable price.

As much as I like those digital prices, I don't like being chained to their respective ecosystems. I'm very much a second hand game guy.

I'll get one eventually but I've got so much still to experience on my PS4.

Thought it was a great showcase with good pricing (console).

Would like now to be hearing more about VR and backwards compat. I guess the Plus Collection is via backwards compatibility.

£70 for day one digital games is a joke (I know simple people keep saying "well games have not gone up in price blah blah") but the amount of people buying games is much bigger than it was even in 360/ps3 days - Also companies will nickel and dime gamers with MTX and different collector editions (there is even digital tat CE)

for both consoles there isn't much there, ps5 has the new spiderman game, which looks good but not getting ps5 day one for that. edit its coming to ps4 as well

I'm not getting either day 1. With Game Pass on Xbox I just sold my PS4 to Cex. Was thinking I'd get a PS5 on launch but there isn't enough there
Price difference is too great as well, I'd go digital but then saw the digital pricing and... no thanks

Not sure really what the point of a first day console is, all I ever recall from the 360, Wii and PS3 is that you were quickly short of games. You then jumped on any release at all.

I'd happily buy a console on Day 1 but it needs some sort of AAA game I'm interested in to play. A 3D Mario, an Uncharted, or something like that.

Just some crappy Spiderman game and something else I am not interested in.

Same goes with XBOX. Endless FPS and games called bio-shock-warfare-fallout 9. Zzzz.

Just gone up on Amazon, put a full fat order in, even if I get an email from Sony offering me the “privilege” of ordering one I may get that one for eBay....
