Reports we're back in for Berahino possibly due to Njie's injury. They *may* be more desperate to sell him now but I'd imagine still at least £15m.

Probably be whatever Spurs bid in the summer - was it £22m? I don't think they would think they would let him go for less. They need to save face.

Kane penalty - 1-0. Need to win convincingly today IMO.

A great finish from Kane (his 2nd) and now a belter from Tom Carroll.

Excellent.

Watching it I still think Spurs had a few more gears to go through, never felt like Spurs were in much trouble after we scored our first, still annoys me that we let Newcastle back into the game a few weeks ago

That's a great win for Spurs today - now third!

Big big win today. Was a very even contest and could have gone either way. We didnt create much against the 10 men and they had better chances during that period.
Think we desperately need another striker to put up top in those situations and a bit more pace wouldnt hurt either.

Leicester at home soon so we will see what we are made of. Would be nice to build a little cushion to the likes of Palace.

What a great first half. I'll take another 45 like that whatever the final result. Mind you a win of any sort will be all the more satisfying.

I still think Spurs don't do enough when they have the ball yes plenty of possession in the first half, But we didn't create that many chances the goal and when we hit the frame of the goal were all long range efforts

Totally agree, watched the first half yesterday and was bemused by the pundits Spurs love-in. Yes they played well and scored a superb goal, but it looked like a lot of sideways passing to me.

Still doing quite well for a club that's not sold its soul for a massive bundle of dubious cash to cheat it's way to quite near the top.

Spurs have spent quite a lot over the last 5-10 years have they not? Surely only City, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal have outspent them?

Net spending is low. The money is also generated by the Club's commercial and sporting activities, as with all genuine football clubs.

Palace haven't scored in 8hrs bet they are glad they are playing Spurs, Spurs play way too much football in defence and are terrible at clearing their lines

Yeah a tremendous 2nd half, If it hadn't been for those home defeats against Newcastle and Leicester we could be challenging for the title

Sounds like a well deserved win despite the narrow scoreline. Up to second

Twenty-odd attempts at goal! 'Only' about 9 on target mind. Gomes was good.

Nose bleed territory now.
