Surprised Poch left Walker on today. We were conceding possession on our right hand side and he wasnt getting tight at all and was on a yellow. No surprise the goal cmae from there. Weak penalty but he was done by a bit of skill.
Hopefully we can get going but very disappointing to draw after 2 up and looking comfortable. Stoke will do well this year I think. Have makings of a good squad.

Does anyone know anything about this Son? Not cheap at 22m. Scores 1 in 4 for South Korea so not a great return. Sounds like another winger type striker like Clinton we have just bought. Lets hope Poch knows what hes doing!!

Looks like the usual panic-buy that will be sold-on for an undisclosed fee in 18 months. But, you never know, he might be half-decent.

Korean strikers don't travel well when it comes to the PL, can't see this guy being any better suited than his predecessors tbh

£22m for a little known young player with no PL experience. Prices are getting crazy. No value in the market etc, etc.

Only have to sell 440,000 shirts at £50 a pop and we're quids in. That's 1 shirt to 0.8% of the population of South Korea. Could do with some more letters in his surname though.

Monaco in the Europa is quite tasty. Don't fancy a trip to Qarabag though.

Excellent scoring record in the Bundesliga though. Jury is obviously out on whether he can do the same here.

Presume he won't be in the squad for today but maybe that N'Jie fella will be?

God, that Spurs line-up is desperate. All the creativity and élan of a wrecking ball.

Dier, Bentaleb AND Mason! Jesus wept.

Just think 5 years ago when our midfield was Bale, Modric, Van der Vaart, Parker and Sandro.

Despairing to see Walker still in the team when we bought Tripper.

Rumours of third bid for Berahino but how can we fit all these forwards in.

Think we should have gone in early for Benteke and he was guaranteed product.

Wanayama has asked for transfer but Saints dont want to sell. Is he the answer to our midfield?
Hoping to see Pritchard in our first team this year. Encouraging that Alli has featured a bit so far and he looks good prospect.

I'm not sure many Spurs fans would get excited about being linked with Wanyama, especially at £20m or whatever and given the options we have in his position.

£20m on a striker or two would be nice, presumably one in the form of Berahino or maybe a surprise couple of signings at half that price each.

Nice to see Soldado getting goals back in Spain!

Wow. It's quiet round here. Personally I've found myself away from the site entirely rather than just this thread. Anyhoo regarding today's game, I guess we should be delighted we're disappointed.

Yep, superb performance but tinged with disappointed that we couldn't hold on but an equalizer seemed somewhat inevitable as they got more on top in the second half.

A narrow defeat to ManYoo on the opening day of the season aside (which we were unlucky to do so), we're unbeaten! Amazing really. Few too many draws of course but looking very hard to beat.

Tough run though - mallets next, then Chelsea.

Deary me Spurs have been very poor today, 2nd half they didn't seem interested at all and got exactly what they deserved

Fiorentina in the EL. Again. Can't see us putting the effort required in to beat them over two legs personally.

Yes, excellent result.

Only downside for me was leaving Dele Alli on my Fantasy Team bench! Argh!

Was so disappointed with the game against Newcastle. Was a real chance to show we mean business and we cocked it up. A good win against the saints but it just feels like 2 steps forward 1 back.
If we can get on a good run of games then hopefully we will sustain a top 4 challenge as its very open this year. Need a striker as Njie is out for up to 3 months following surgery.
