I'm sure it's going to be good, though I'd love to know why Amy Hennig got fired in the first place. Little bits of information are slowly trickling out but from new leads you can't hold it against them if they had different ideas.

It seems that way or there was some sort of pay off to leave.

It seems there was a big change at the developer (the link mentioned throwing away months of v/o from nolan north) and she left then several over important people did. I don't think she was fired, maybe she quit as unhappy. Also she just walked into another job at EA studio
She had a good few weeks before she moved to a new studio. Whether or not she was fired from company, she was definitely removed from leadership of the project. There was a false claim that that Neil Druckman and Bruce Straley pushed her out but quickly after the head of Naughty Dog released a statement saying that leadership decisions are made by the studio heads not the directors.
8 months of work is a lot. However, nobody knows what's going on. It may seem harsh but business can be like that. I'm guessing the quality just wasn't there with such a high profile project.
Look at what happened with Sony Santa Monica - An entire game was scrapped and loads of people let go including the God Of War director.

Guess we'll find out soon enough. It's just that I wasn't expecting someone to burst into flames, super sprint across the arena and then some odd statute to appear out of thin air...
Coincidence the delay has occurred just after the open beta (or whatever it was)?
Anyway it's (obviously!) better to fix any teething problems than release something that isn't quite right. And it gives me another month to finish off other things waiting to be played!
