Going back to the PS3 is like going back to the PS1 from a controller point of view. It really is woeful. Love the DS4 though.

Either way if the LoU/Uncharted 2 directors take over, I have no doubt we will get a better game out of it.
The Last of Us co-leads Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann are leading development of the next Uncharted game, Naughty Dog has confirmed.

Good news.

Looks like typical awesome Uncharted.

Still got another year to save up for a PS4 though

Still the reason i buy a Playstation over an Xbox.

Now that's how you evolve a game for the fourth in the series

Oh wait, game plays exactly the same including wonky shooting controls

GOTY!

I bought by PS3 to play Uncharted 2 and think I'll finally buy the PS4 when this is out.

Fwiw, thought 3 was just ok. And the combat has always been poor in the series. They may have Tomb Raider licked on the set pieces, but the combat in TR was actually fun and not a chore.

I thought UC3 was horrible. Thankfully the guys behind Last of Us are working on this installment.

It wasn't *horrible*. The set pieces were magnificent, but the experience on a whole was disjointed. Very disappointing after the incredible second game.

It seems so hard to differentiate modern Tomb Raider and Uncharted games these days apart from one you're playing as Lara and the other Nolan North. Oh, and one has enjoyable combat.

The scripting, set pieces, spectacle and especially the QTE are handled much better in the Uncharted games.

And I think it's great that people that like big flashy set-pieces prefer one and people that like fun prefer the other
