I guess that narrows down the time you switched fanboyism.

I loved all 3 of them, only games, other than last of us, I played to completion on ps3, actually probably only games I really played on it at all, and I still felt I had value for money

Playing Tomb Raider now thanks to PSN+. It's good but it's no where near Uncharted quality. Far too many instant death qte's and poor level design sections.

Tomb Raider didn't have the humour and gameplay variation the Uncharted games have.

Claiming that Tomb Raider is the best Uncharted game is a statement that could only come from a devout MS fanboy who has never even played an Uncharted game.

I owned a PS3 and played all the Uncharted games to completion. They were fine.
Last of Us was magnificent, so no fanboism here.

The humour in Uncharted was very one-note. Enjoyable and endearing in parts, but nothing like witty enough to be a massive swing in its favour.
Gameplay wise, variation doesn't make up for the clunky controls in my opinion.

[PS4] Uncharted (4)
Uncharted 2 and Tomb Raider 2013 are on the same level as far as I'm concerned. I absolutely adored both of them.

The Uncharted series are good games ruined by crappy combat, the same reason why I couldn't get on with The Last of Us. Overall I much prefered the Tomb Raider reboot.

Re: [PS4] Uncharted (4)
There's an equation called Drake's formula which is quite easy to understand.
Uncharted 2 > Uncharted 3 > Tomb Raider
Simple.

[PS4] Uncharted (4)
I dismissed Uncharted originally, as I figured it for a Tomb Raider knock off. But, ironically enough, last year's TR reboot (which was my second favourite game of 2013) took quite a few cues from the Uncharted series. The tone is drastically different though, and the equipment Lara uses is more like something lifted from the Arkham games.

Tomb Raider is a great game. I don't want to come across as dissing it, but it's not in the same league as Uncharted 2 or TLOU for me. I can't understand anyone having problems with the combat in TLOU.

I'm prepared to give it a second chance when it's available to play on a controller designed for human hands.

However they get it to work is good by me. DS4 and Xbox 360/One pads are excellent and both put the analogues in different places.
