I actually quite like the Body Snatchers steelbook. Sure, it's got a Christian recruitment DVD vibe about it, but there's something otherworldly about it that appeals.

Bear in mind that Arrow take your money straight away.
Not sure about the art, think I prefer what they were using when it was first announced.

After lots of moaning Arrow have changed the artwork back to the original version.

Are you in the UK, delivery should be free? First time I bought something there it was telling me I'd have to pay delivery until I actually created an account then the charge disappeared.
In other news Zavvi have a 24hr steel sale. Nice of them to drop Evil Dead 2 so soon after release

Blu-ray steelbook thread #2
Wow didn't realise zavvi was running a racket on Disney films. Little mermaid sold out and not released for another two weeks!! Would have liked the Aladdin one!

Iron Man 3 arrived yesterday, and intact from Zavvi which is nice
Obviously a little pricey but looks really nice!

Are there steelbooks available for X-men Last Stand, and X-men first Class?
I like the look of X-Men and X2 steelbooks so would like all four in a row if possible.

There was definitely one for First Class. I think it was a Play exclusive.

Yummy looking exclusive steelbook for The Wolverine only available through stores at HMV. 3D too, so, although no price announced yet, I wouldn't expect it to be cheap.

Pre-ordered one instore a few weeks ago and the guy said it was listed at £35, but he assumed that was a placeholder price. Judging by HMVs recent steelbook prices though I imagine it will be over £20, £25 probably.

Remember that Zavvi steelbook of Rocketeer that was sold out two weeks after listing, five months before its September release date?
I found out where they all went...

Sad isn't it
Anyone interested in the Big Trouble in Little China steelbook might like to know it's currently £13.99 directly from Arrow. It does have some new extras so that's my excuse for double dipping
I assume this is a similar situation to Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the price will go up to £16.99 in a week or two. Don't forget Arrow will take your money straight away.

I really like that poster. It's ruined though by having "3D" on the front.
