Said before I think we have our eye on a Manager who is managing at the World Cup, Van Gaal most likely and as we can't get him til the Summer so give Sherwood an 18 month contract and get to save face as he didn't want to be seen as a Caretaker Manager

That would be harsh on Sherwood who has been with us for years

I'd be more than happy if Tim Sherwood remained manager until the 2018 world cup, he get's it see, the Spurs way, AVB didn't have a scooby.

I hope Sherwood is either a massive success or a flop, there would be nothing worse than doing something like Di Matteo like winning the Europa League but floundering in the PL and then making it seem like he has to stay and bypassing looking for another coach.

Personally I would like to see someone young come in, Frank De Boer perhaps?

I doubt it, haven't had much luck in attracting strikers recently. Looks like we picked the wrong Spaniard in the summer, Negredo looks a far superior player to Soldado right now.

Is Coulibaly ever going to make the step up?

Soldado has the ability, you only need to watch some compliations on YT, playing under AVB's dullard formation has shredded him of confidence completely. I do beleive he will come good eventually

Besides, Negredo is playing with far superior player than to who Soldado is

AVB has just been made redundant. Could he do a job for you?

You could make Emile Heskey look great with a YouTube compilation though.

Shame Defoe has gone to MLS. I would have loved him at Villa for a while. THink he still hads a lot to add.

He should score bucket loads over there, I'd imagine we could do worse than having him on loan for a couple of months every year as well.

Sherwood sounds like he is going to do without a replacement as well

In saying that....you don't get much shorter than Defoe so you may end up taller up front.
