Grr I'm behind on doing this with my Vidahost sites - did anyone find out whether they charge for applying the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate?
Edit - well I'm on the legacy CPanel service and they said they'd have to migrate me to a new server but they could enable it for free within cpanel. Waiting for the migration (up to 3 days, minimal downtime).

Is there an easy way to test your website to see a list of any cookies you might be using?
I'm sure I used an online scanner but it didn't come back with anything, even though I use Google Analytics, so I'm not sure accurate it was.
Thanks,
Psycho

Thanks for the help with finding a list of cookies.
I'm a bit confused because I have two WordPress websites that use different themes but use the same plugins but I'm getting a longer list of cookies for one site over the other.
Is there anyway to find out why a cookie is being used and what plugin or feature it is connected to?
I was mainly expecting to see Google Analytic cookies, which are showing, but for one website I have about 3 and for the other I have about 18.
I'm not sure why one website has so many more Google cookies?
Psycho
EDIT: It might be because I use reCAPTURE on the home page or one but only on the contact page of the other - I didn't know you needed to check each page for cookies and I noticed the number increased when the reCAPTURE featured on the page.

This is driving me around the twist!
Has anyone had any luck adding a acceptance tick box to a Contact Form 7 form with some text next to the tick box?
I can get both things to show but it puts the text on a seperate line to the tick box, which looks stupid.
Here's an image of how it currently looks:
This person seemed to be having a similar problem but I couldn't see how or if they resolved it?

Thanks,
Psycho

Have you edited the CSS so it's inline, as per the suggestion in the SO answer?
I've not added checkboxes to my contact forms, but can have a play tomorrow.

I did try what was shown in the link I posted but maybe I was doing it wrong?
I added the CSS bit into Additional Settings tab within Contact Form 7. Was I meant to add it somewhere else... I'm sure there use to be an easy place to edit CSS within the WordPress dashboard but I can't find it any more?
Thanks,
Psycho
EDIT 1: It was "Appearance / Editor" that I can no longer find in the WordPress dashboard.
EDIT 2: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/...editor-option/
EDIT 3: It was a setting in iThemes Security that I have turned on - Security / Settings / WordPress Tweaks / Disable File Editor

It looks like it was something to do with the theme that was moving the text to under the checkbox. The following CSS fixed it:
.wpcf7-acceptance input { position: absolute; **
.wpcf7-acceptance span { margin-left: 25px; **
*The "**" should be replaced with "**"... I give up! lol

"Congratulations, you already have Let's Encrypt enabled on [domain]. No further action should be necessary."
What stage am I at here? I'm 75% into building a new - pretty basic - WP site. I've not created a menu or any internal links yet.
I've read something about pointing WP to the https version in Settings? Will that mean, when the site goes live, it will automatically default to the https version? Or have I missed a step(s)?

Currently on offer for free - WP theme from an 'elite author'. Uses Visual Composer (WPbakery) page builder, if you'd fancied giving that a try.
Construction - Business & Building Company WordPress Theme
Although it's construction-themed, it should be easy enough to adapt.

I built a WP site on vidahost. It's just for fun and to put some car pics on. I cannot for the life of me work out how to increase the pic size upload beyond 2MB. I have googled and tried everything I can find but no joy.
Could it be a limit set on the server it is hosted on?

lol. 2 of those demos aren't working for me (sites broken) so they must be popular! Downloaded them OK so will have to play on my own site. Hoping to tweak one of them for a car garage, as a friend wants his site 'updated'.
