might be old but it's still his finest imo.
last news on his site said Abarat 3 in Sept this year but that was before the news about his publisher dropping him appeared so not sure if that will change anything, been too long though, just finished 1 and about to start on 2 again, very very good.

This interview says Harper Collins sat on the Abarat 3 manuscript for 8 months before getting back to him and demanding a rewrite in 4 weeks !! That interview is dated August last year
I think it's going to get dropped by them and they'll then sit on the rights demanding unreasonable payments from alternative publishers for ages

having read it again I din't pick up on the what looks like two separate divisions at HC so presumably Abarat 3 isn't covered by HC adult and the article implies it's now done, but it can't be good if he's fallen out with them...
does seem to have a lot going on, maybe too much, and his output of books has been very slow since 2nd Abarat, seems be focusing much more on his art and photography these days.

Uber Limited, and if it is anything like the other books released through his website, it is going to be gorgous!

cool!
I sent them an email but it's probably too late by now...
Let's just hope books 4 and 5 are out in a much shorter timescale than 3

Would be interested to hear if you get one...they are not cheap, but I am sure it will be well worth it!

Ooft. Would love a copy of the companion book, but it's too rich for my blood!
No pun intended...
I notice they're good enough to give you a Ł4 discount if you pay Ł9 for the digital copy as well.
Is it just me, or should digital copies not be given away free to those purchasing the print version of a book?
I dunno, just seems logical, for some reason.

Pre-ordered from Amazon! For a new book the kindle version is very nicely priced too at only Ł6.49

I have had this pre-ordered for a good couple of months through Amazon, I'm sure they have always had the 27th as it's release date!

also had mine on order for a while but I assumed there were still some problems with the publishers, think the update on revelations was the first time it has actually been confirmed it will be released, tbh I was starting to worry it might be years away, I just hope he's got something sorted now.

hopefully this long delay will result in a shorter delay for books 4 and 5.
