Recommend me a light photo editor.

I need to remove "a head" from a digital picture. Not played with editors for ages. Not up to date with it all.
It's a head and just blue sky behind, so should be very easy.

That's primarily the idea. Just have a nice picture of 2 kids jumping on a bouncy castle but another kids head just popping up.
I'm doing the free trial of photoshop elements 12
I shall give this a try also.
