It's an all-inclusive dinner/dance/fashion-show event to raise money for the Kidneys for Life Appeal. I will put a "proper" thread in the GDF next week once I have finalised the list of auction prizes [thanks Mods for letting me do this ] but in brief:
15th September; Nawab Restaurant Manchester.
tickets £30 each [tables of ten so you can book a complete table too ]
Some of the stuff I got:
signed bats from Sri Lanka and Pakistan [hopefully the winner will get to ***** the team round the head with the Pakistan bat ]
possibly box seats at Man Citeh from a supporter of the charity but not had any confirmation (Man U just said they do enough already)
Mountain Bike, Gold Jewellry, signed Adidas football [Defoe/Cisse], all-inc blind date to barcelona; helicopter trip to Harrods with shopping followed by lunch in Paris with a local Millionaire...
Still waiting on a few more people who I will chase on Monday!
Some of the dance routines are bloody cool

Regards the fancard, I guess it's one ticket per card?
Really wanted 2 for the Spurs game.

I've been able to buy up to 3 tickets on 1 fancard for league games - I think its just the major games where they limit you to 1 per fancard.

UPDATE: Just checked the official site, if you go to order a home shirt you can choose a name for the back. That list has "11 M.Gonzalez"

I had Gonzalez on mine, the "." is not included.

The Echo thinks we are getting close now to clinching the Dirk Kuyt deal - £10m with no player exchanges looks like winning the race. Hopefully he'll be the man to complete the squad and give us a real chance of winning big this season

So is that some kind of cock up then, that will be fun for everyone travelling down to Cardiff, I can imagine all the chaos.
So who is going tomorrow then, I've managed to get a ticket with the Liverpool fans, and I am dead chuffed about it, I'm going with my mum who is a chelsea fan so I'm well pleased I dont have to sit with her and just be quiet if Liverpool score.
Come on you reds, Cant wait

Unfortunately they have a system where whoever is drawn as the home team is sent one route into Cardiff to a specific parking place and the other fans another way. It's just the luck of the draw that LFC are sent down the blue route and Chelsea the red but the routes (and colours) are always the same. At the end of the day both teams might be teams that play in red so they can't colour the routes appropriately in all cases (and they only have two sets of signs!)

I was extremely disappointed to see that too.
I would have thought he would be keeping a low profile, especially with his wife in the situation she's in at the mo.

Gerrard is getting hammered on some of the Liverpool forums. Seems to be the straw that broke the camels back for some people. Really bad form to go with the NOTW. This could really back fire for him.
The Sun is a bad word in Liverpool and with the NOTW world being a sister paper the fans could really turn on him. By the looks of a lot of forums the water is turning dirty already. Although Owen wrote for them in the past and he wasn't booed.
Personally I don't care what he says, he's a bit stupid to go with that paper but how interesting can a 26yr old's life be? All the sensational stuff will be about Ronaldo and the WC. There will probably be about 10 chapters on the Chelsea saga plus a bit about his struggle from poverty to fame and fortune. Bla Bla.
Having said that how interesting can a 19yr olds life be? Who the **** would read Wayne Rooneys Biog?
As long as Stevie gives it all on the park each Saturday then I will be happy.
