Doctor Who - Children in Need Special thread (NO spoilers about Xmas Sp & Series 2)
I thought I would do a separate thread for this, so that you some of you wont risk seeing any spoilers about the Xmas Special & Series 2.
For all spoilers & info on the Xmas Special & 2nd Series please post here:
Doctor Who - Xmas Special & Season Two production & rumors thread. Maybe SPOILERS!
That way we can keep this thread spoiler free.
The BBC's website for the Children In Need charity event notes that the special Doctor Who mini-episode (a 3 1/2-minute short piece set between "The Parting of the Ways" and "The Christmas Invasion") being broadcast on Friday 18 November after 9pm will be available for viewing on the web for an undefined period at this Children in Need website starting the same evening at 9:30pm. There is currently a trailer available on the website.

Have watched CiN in years, but from my experience it depends on what region you're in. I remember, because BBC NI kept bumping the Red Dwarf special later and later a few years back and didn't show it in the end.

Well any concerns i had regarding Tennant as the Doctor just went out the window.....
He did a great job!
I find it hard to imagine that what we've just seen wont be repeated again for The Christmas Invasion. It seems to set up the episode and they can't rely on everyone having seen this.

That what I was thinking, surely this will be repeated, I can't see anyway they can't.
Tennant looks like he is going to be a decent Doctor.

That was fun! and a tantalising little bit about the regeneration not working or something... (I've no idea what The Christmas Invasion is going to be about but that certainly whetted my appetite!)

I had my doubts he would make a good doctor but as others have said that short teaser has convinced me. As another good doctor would have said “fantastic”.

Mmm.. I was hoping for a more serious doctor this time, so I hope he drops the pantomime style a notch. Billie did good though.

Working fine now.
I didn't realise how much I missed this show until now. Tennant is brilliant. Really can't wait to see more of him.
