I recon Ecclestone was not happy with how the show went but this obviously is, and this is my point... because he had bad feeling about how it would be recieved. Only 1 episode had been aired when he told the BeeB he was leaving (i think) so he had NO idea how well it was going to go and HAS gone. I would think he will regret his decision.

Christ, you have to be careful with the BBC to avoid Dr Who spoilers! They've just flashed up some clips on that atrocious Julian Clairy Lottery programme whilst I was in the front room. Don't know if it spoilt owt for next week cos I dashed from the room quickly enough to leave an eye_writ shaped hole in the door.

Same mistake George Lazenby made quitting the role of Bond after OHMSS for fear of being typecast.

That was what I thought too.
Also loved hearing the classic dalek control room noise when Rose regained consciousness.
Just watched Doctor Who Confidential. It seems they filmed captain Jack's bum but weren't allowed to show that bit. But they broadcast him copping a feel of the Susannah robot's tits

Same here - I found it annoyed me that much that I didn't really enjoy the episode at all It was weak. I guess I was meant to find the robot Trinny and Suzanna funny (oh look, one got big breasts and one hasn't! ho ho ho!) and stuff, but it just felt contrived and poor - I didn't find the burping bin as annoying as the robot Anne Robinson, and although once the episode got moving properly (from when the Doctor and Jack got into the command room with the controller) it picked up, I still wouldn't say it was that good at all.

Yeah, I saw that, the bloody idiots think that nobody cares about the plot details and are just looking forward to the spectacle of it all. It's the same disease that prompts newspapers and magazines to give away plot lines from the soaps. Why do people want to know what's coming?!!

Hmm, in the guest stars for Bad Wolf it lists an actual character of 'Bad Wolf' played by "Kevin Eldon". Any idea if that makes any sense?

An awesome episode, best of the series so far and what a cliffhanger. From the very beginning with the Doctor in the Big Brother house to the final scenes as the Daleks begin their invasion of Earth, this was first class entertainment and really shows that Russell T Davies knows how to write for Doctor Who after all the criticism he has received throughout the 12 weeks run so far. As for next week, well the voice that utters "THEY SURVIVED THROUGH ME" can only be
Just feel so gutted that I am not going to be able to see this next Saturday as I am away on holiday, but I will be seeing it on Sunday 26 June.

I just realised I didn't comment on the episode - It was good, great infact. Not topping the Rose's dad episode (just touched a raw nerve for me for personal reasons) but it was enjoyable. It did start off badly but once found it's feet off it went like a rocket. Very enjoyable but why -
a) is it 7 days away before it is completed
b) did they show the biggest spoiller ever on this lotto tosh
Do you think there is going to be a Peter Davidson style transformation from Christopher to David at the end?

Hmmm the actor Kevin Eldon appeared in Big Train and stuff with Lee and Herring, comedy actor but I have to admit I didn't notice him unless he was the character on BadWolf TV (just a face)
Fantastic Episode, loved the way the Doctor saw the consequences of his actions and the ending was superb.
Only downside I saw was the timeline tbh. With the way TV is declining morally I imagine the shows we saw will be shown on TV in their lethal versions within the next decade and morons queuing round the block to be seen on TV anyway

Another fun episode - favourite parts included the classic dalek ship sound effects, the idea that the Dr has screwed up the Earth for the past 100 years, and the Captain Jack pulling out his gun trick...
I thought the Big Brother music was a bit "over the top" at the beginning, but perhaps that was deliberate. Good use of current TV, but at least there were some references to other shows to prove it wasn't solely 21st century stuff.

Problem with regenerations is they are so formulaic. Everyone knows what's involved. Doc falls down, transforms into new doc, off they go.
I suspect (or hope) something more dramatic and novel will occur, maybe not even involving a regeneration at all .

Davros was the leader of the Daleks in the old series and Adam was the gay bloke from Corrie who was in a couple of the earlier episodes, including the one with the the sad dalek.
(I'm sure someone will give you a more anal description of Davros though)
