For system admins out there:
I've recently setup my own website. I'm a developer for a college and produce my own custom software the the IT Department. You can get my software FREE at http://www.wisesoft.co.uk.
At the moment I have two applications on my site:
Password Control
A simple Active Directory enabled tool that allows helpdesk staff to change users passwords.
Sys Req: XP, 2000, 2003 Server
.NET Framework
Active Directory required
ScriptBuilder
Released today!! This product allows you to create logon scripts that map network drives and install shared printers.
sys req: XP, 2000, 2003 Server
SQL Server (or the free MSDE from Microsoft)
.NET Framework
I would be happy to recieve feedback on these products. I plan to add additional software to my website at a later date.

Thanks, the sections expand. I got work to pay for some nice icons for my apps. The program was written in .NET and I got the treeview control from Crownwood sowfware.
We find ScriptBuilder really useful, so I thought I'd share it with other admins. A college is quite a unique environment though so I'd be interested if other people find my apps useful for their business.
I have some other apps that I've developed and will post them on my site at a later date...

Is Powerdesk about the best free dual-pane explorer replacement available for Windows XP? I used it for a bit but wasn't too struck on it and so I've reverted back to regular Windows explorer.
Update: I've just started using xplorer Lite which seems pretty good so far.

Official Yahoo! Toolbar for Firefox released (beta version)...
http://toolbar.yahoo.com/firefox
This is Windows only. There is an unofficial open-source version that's been knocking around for some time and is cross platform...

The shutdown command can be really useful.
-s = shutdown
-f = force program close
-m \\computername = remote shutdown
-t (Time in seconds) = Schedule your computer to shutdown later if it's busy with something.
e.g. shutdown -s -f -t 3600
(Will shutdown your PC & force programs to close in 1 hour.)

Crap Cleaner does a good job of cleaning up the registry and also temporary files.
