There was nothing wrong with it... I thought it was just as funny as when it began tbh.

That's a shame, won't be the same without him.

It's just for the series that they are filming next and will back for the following series. They are going to use guest presenters whilst he's away.

Rather a good episode with Ricky Wilson last night I thought. Not missing Mark at all.

I think the guest presenters are working out very well. Ricky is a funny guy, its just weird to see him on telly after being used to seeing him around the pubs and clubs of the north.
He obviously got some clout to get the singer of his favourite band (The Cribs) on but he turned out to be good value for money. His band is still pants though, went to a secret gig of theirs by mistake in January and they were not good.

That guy from the Cribs was annoying. I can't decide whether he was really that full of himself or whether he was just high and having a wry laugh.
Have to agree that Ricky from the Kaisers was superb though - especially the lounge act at the end.

watched this last night, and found that bloke from The Cribs to be a really annoying prat! He didn't look overly pleased when Phil Jupitus started taking the mickey out of him

I'd agree with that. He can dish it out but not take it. Ricky seemed delighted every time he said something funny or was made fun of. It could've been the editing but it made him look like he was like Ricky's little pet. Strange but amusing all the same.

last weeks was funnier with the Guy from Pop World
His digs at Kate Thorton and the bickering with Nick Knowles was good fun

True. Nick Knowles knows how to take a bit of stick in good humour.

I love the fact that he completely out-Bezed Bez!
I also think the guest presenters are working out very well - much better than on HIGNFY. I wouldn't mind if Mark took another few months off.
What i'd really like to see is Sean Hughes guest host!

Yes, enjoying the lack of Mark. As Duncan said, last week's was better though.

he should stay away for good, the show is completely unwatchable with him, now.
first time in ages it's actually been an enjoyable show to watch. lemar just used to the show to vent his anger and try to stamp on everyone else's gags. utter prick

Simon from Popworld was brilliant, Ricky Wilson was ace too. Bloke from The Cribs was a bit off. The rest of it was fine. Guest presenters seems to work out well, not really missing Lamarr...

Good news that is. He was the best of the guest presenters.
