Looking at my gigs for next year, I have one booked for Feb, which I can't see happening, and then nothing until April when I have 6 in the diary. I suspect they will all get moved or cancelled as well.

I have one for February and another that hasn't been rearranged yet. It's a bit grim. The Musician's Union reckon 40% of artists are considering quitting - and I don't think that includes people like roadies, instrument techs, coach drivers, all the associated jobs.
There is no sense at all from government that they're interested in any of the arts.

and yesterday's announcement was no help at all.
As you say all the associated jobs are eing really badly hit so much so that, I would imagine it will be really tough to find people to do these jobs as and when people are able to tour again. Most of them will have already have had to find other jobs

In totally expected news, the Glastonbury festival has been cancelled. I expect all other festivals to follow suit

I have booked The Alarm Staycation which will hopefully go ahead as it will be socially distanced.

The Genesis tour has been pushed back again until Sep/Oct which I think is very optimistic.

And then you're basically into another winter and, although I claim no particular knowledge on the matter, perhaps round two of what might become an annual Covid vaccination process?

Exactly. I just can't see we'll be in a position for gigs of this size until next year.

How does everyone feel about goings to gigs and concerts once lockdown restrictions lift?
I’ve got tickets for Queen and Adam Lambert in June (postponed from last year) at 60 I should have had my first jab by then...but I’m not sure how happy I feel about sitting in the 02 with thousands of people. 2 years ago I wouldn’t even have thought twice about it. I’ve gotten so used to distancing and not mingling with people now I think it will take a while before I feel comfortable doing it again and sitting there with a mask for 3-4 hours doesn’t appeal too much either.

It'll be weird but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I don't think you have to worry abut the Queen gig. I can't see any way that will happen this year. I've got Rammstein in June but just waiting for the inevitable postponement/cancellation.
Other than the Alarm weekender I mentioned above, I only have a few gigs left in my diary for this year as most have been cancelled or moved to 2022. The only one that I think might happen is James in November.

I've got the Human League at Cardiff in late December. Hopefully it'll be far enough along this pandemic to still go ahead.

Yes, I'm sure Rammstein will move again. With these big world tours, it's not just the UK situation that will impact the tour.
I'm relaxed about going to gigs tbh. After (not) Rammstein, the next I have booked of Barenaked Ladies at RAH in October. Certainly thinking that should go ahead.

Yeah I managed to get two from 2020 both moved to 28th May this year, so I'm hoping they will both move to different dates next year.

the annoying thing about Rammstein is that my hotel booking is non refundable. The 2020 was refundable but when the gig was moved to 2021 the hotel want booking that far ahead. When they did become available they didn't put any flexible rates on sale. Cheeky gits.

I can’t really see it happening in June especially as Brian May has had a few health issues too in the last year. I’m hoping it get pipits back to later in the year or even delayed until next year.
