what are you reading (thread 4)

My first library book in months collected today! Library not yet actually open for browsing but i had pre-ordered a ton during lockdown.

I have read 35 books per Good reads this year. Most of it was using the lbrary app libby, so easy to get books/series lined up and when its your turn, you get it for 2 weeks and then GONE, onto the next. So quite efficient.

Most notable were

David Cameron - interesting to read when doing public law
Trust me i am a doctor - when the nhs is getting so much praise

and a ton of usual serial killer (Chris Carter) and James Patterson type stuff.

(and its funny as my last post a year ago said i just finished the first in this series and found it so-so! so high hopes!)

I bought The President is Missing only because Bill Clinton (yes, that one) co-authored it with James Patterson. I had to struggle though a highly improbable plot, numerous plotholes and in the end, a flat outcome. 4/10

The epilogue is just excruciatingly bad

It’s a typical janes Patterson novel.
I get them from the library now, very forgettable, even the Alex cross ones now
