Really slow PS4 d/l speeds - how to improve?

The PS4 is connected by Ethernet to virgin fibre 100mb and I even manage 46mb over WiFi.
Son is trying to download an update to a game that’s only 600mb and it’s taking forever.
Checked network settings and it’s showing me a d/l speed of 1.8Mbps??!!

How can I fix this please?

Sorted it - sort of.
My switch is bust. Getting 105mb into it but a trickle out of any of the ports.
Fine over WiFi
Time for a new switch
