This just occurred to me, Dredds inflexibility in his adherence to the rules, with a modern hat on this sounds like an autistic/aspergers type trait so would say he is somewhere down the spectrum - although I am no expert on such things so don't know if he shows any other traits or not other than just being a stick in the mud.
Not really, he's a clone and was brainwashed / conditioned from an early age to be the physical embodiment of the law (I am the law!), hence him being such a 'stick in the mud'.
