[PS4] Uncharted 4 - A Thief's End
Not much to go on in the teaser trailer (not even the timeline of the story).
However, I thought it'd be a good time to start a thread to link to this interesting article on the deconstruction of the above trailer.
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/arti...arted-4-Teaser
So, who's the voice. Drake with a cold? New Enemy? Reboot Hero?
Hopefully we'll find out this Christmas.

What now? Oh I see it now. Is it real, though?

Yeah that's the trailer from November. Originally everyone was suggesting a release of Xmas this year but according to Naughty Dog they are only just working on the getting the engine running on PS4 which after 3 years makes you wonder what the story and artists teams have been doing.
I'm guessing it'll be at least summer 2015 before it's released.

Both the lead writer of the series and now the director have left Naughty Dog.

Considering he directed the poop 3rd game, this might not be a bad thing!

Third game wasn't poop, it just wasn't as good as number II.

It wasn't good enough for me to finish and considering some of the dog **** I've played through that's not good.
Either way if the LoU/Uncharted 2 directors take over, I have no doubt we will get a better game out of it.

The Last of Us co-leads Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann are leading development of the next Uncharted game, Naughty Dog has confirmed.

I couldn't get on with three either, for some reason, felt uninvolved. I looked lovely, but too many cut scenes for me. I still think we'll see this before the end of the year (with a caveat that it might get pushed back to Jan/Feb)

I'm thinking the sony seller for Christmas
Outside of the multi platform titles each platform will need a system seller for the Christmas market, and with sonys habit of a bundle for big games then infamous 4 would ensure they win the battle for Christmas

I didn't get on with Uncharted 1. Loved 2, and enjoy what I've played of 3. Unfortunately, BF4 came out and sidetracked me so not finished it yet.

Enjoyed the 1st one, 2 was even better. 3 was good rental but the single player didn't offer anything new. Also didn't like the walking around the desert levels and final bit on the bridge was from the end of 2 (more or less)
U4 should be something special

How could you not like Uncharted 1?!
It's like somebody saying they don't like chips or beer.

I enjoyed the characters and the visuals were lovely, but the gameplay was too repetitive. Too much clunky combat in the same areas against the same enemies. And the final boss battle was awful.
2 managed to throw in loads more interesting platforming and designed combat set pieces with plenty of options and variety. Everything just gelled beautifully in that game.

Re: [PS4] Uncharted (4)
Agree with Weasel, I wasn't that big a fan of the first either although 2 and 3 were both absolutely brilliant.

I liked 1, but found it a bit finicky and unforgiving, controls wise. 2 was stunning.
