Can't see the point myself. Leave us with the original movie.

It's supposed to be the chronicle of a young Al Capone and his battles with an equally young Jim Malone.

But, yes, having any reference to "untouchability" in the title would seem fairly nonsensical.

First Muppet Babies... now everyone's on the bandwagon.

Looking forward to Passion of the Christ II: Jesus & Herod: The early years.

Not terribly excited by the prospect. I'm a bit big De Palma fan, but always thought The Untouchables was one of his least interesting films. Can't we have have a prequel to Dressed to Kill instead, where Michael Caine discovers lipstick and nylon wigs ?

1993 being the year Carlito's Way was released and hence his last "great" film.

Mission Imposiable was a really good film! Highly under rated!

Apart from that... I can't think of many others... Casultes of War... when was that?

Psycho

PS. Snake Eyes wasn't too bad... well I liked the begining one continues shot.

I thought "Femme Fatale" was a brilliant piece of filmmaking. As a piece of trashy summer entertainment, "Mission Impossible" was very good as well.

I was only explaining what DeadKenny meant, not endorsing it.

Although, I have to admit, I've liked very little of De Palma's output hence, which is a shame.

There were only 2 good things about Femme Fatale - Rebecca Romjin's left one and her right one

I thought that De Palma was producing this and wanted someone else to direct?

A load of sources are reporting that he's directing, including Empire:

With De Palma directing I'll probably go and see it, does the world really deserve to see Josh Hartnett as Capone and Orlando Bloom as Malone though...
