I prefer Lock Stock, but Snatch is a pretty good film as well. Watch it if only to see Brad Pitt as an Irish gypsy... he's brilliant.

You Lo-Tek Pirate, if you're gona do it, do it with style, not DiVX.
I deny everything.
Anyway, Snatch is even better than Lock Stock which I didn't think was possible, it's full of memorable scenes and characters. Boris the Blade, muttering and all beat up and scratched walks past a couple of guys into his house, walks out with a big arse machine gun with sub-rocket launcher and keeps mumbling expletives, goes past them back again. I mean, that's the funniest scene.
Bullet Tooth "you can call me susan" Tony with his D.Eagle .50, and Avi the jewish american played by Denis "Don't go to England" Farina. It's just an incredible movie, I often wonder how come there isn't a spot for it in my Top 10.

Snatch is far superior to lock, Stock - this time the abundance of style is matched by a substantial story and some very heavyweight performances from Pitt and Del Toro.
I actually hated Lock, Stock but loved Snatch.

Brad Pitt *drool*
Snatch was a great film, especially Dennis Farina's character, the dog and the Vaughn/Ritchie commentary on the DVD, but I really prefer Lock Stock.

Snatch is a great film, but Lock Stock has better characters (Brad Pitt's excepted), a better/cleverer story and much better dialogue.
Snatch's cockney dialogue is a little forced I reckon as if it's trying too hard to out do Lock Stock.
Both film's are essential purchases though IMO and are very rewatchable.

More Snatch
We watched Snatch before Lock,Stock and think maybe we would have enjoyed Lock,Stock more had we seen it first.
My favourites are Sol,Vinny and Tyrone. How incompetent can you get...

Snatch is the same film as Lock stock but bigger and better.
Thinking about it snatch is what tenebaums is to rushmore but one works and the other doesn't.

It never fails to maze me how many old threads get bumped up in this forum, hardly a day goes by without someone finding an old thread and then bringing it back to the top

Is Snatch better than Layer Cake?
hmmmn Chandler Bing would have a field day with a question like that.
