I don't mind non-anamorphic 1.66:1 because at least I can display it properly. Anamorphic 1.66:1 looks the same as 1.85:1 due to my T.V's overscan. Whilst the picture quality isn't jaw-dropping it's much better than it looked on T.V a few weeks ago!

Yeah, I finally caved in and ordered the set from DVDSoon. At that price, less the discount, it's a real steal.

I also yesterday received Scorsese's My Voyage to Italy from DVDPacific. I haven't had a chance to view it yet, but I'm looking forward to a viewing over the weekend.

there's a new Martin Scorsese out which is the same old MGM boxset but it also includes The King Of Comedy.the question is, does this boxset include the 2-disc set of Raging Bull and New York, New York? if it does, then this boxset is WAY much better than the R1 set.

HMV list it as a 5-disc set but u can't depend on on that kinda stuff...

I saw this set in HMV today - Its a repackaging of the previous set

Boxcar Bertha
New York New York
The Last Waltz
Raging Bull
But now also includes The King Of Comedy

However, wait for it - I'm almost certain they are all bare bones. They are in slim packs and no mention anywhere on the packaging that any extra features are included.
