Have to say Agent Carter was great television. The limited run made every episode count.

Bobbi was looking mighty fine in that black assault suit I have to say!

This is really flagging, i think the past 6 episodes have been almost exactly the same episode with different camera angles.

The 12/13 episode model (or less) is so much better - there's too much flabby filler in 22/24 episode seasons these days. Agent Carter wasn't perfect but it was a million times better than this - and Daredevil blows them both out of the water.

I definitely agree that this week's (US) episode was poor but i've enjoyed recent episodes & this season has been much better than the previous.

It would however benefit from dropping to the much leaner 13ep model that Cable shows adopt, but then you can say that about 99% of US Network shows (apart from The Good Wife of course).

Dropping down my list now, its not even following its own rule book to say its connected to the MCU. One example is if Commander Adama is after/targeting "powered" people as they are a threat but not a mention of the Avengers etc.
It just can't hold the weight any more!

I thought it was a good episode this week. Plenty of action.

The real telltale sign of whether they are serving the wider MCU properly is what the tie in is going to be to AOU. Do we think that they are going to turn up to South Africa with a broom to clean up after hulk? Like they did in London after Thor 2..?

1+1

I think that just means the 'enhanced' (i.e. Marvel can't say mutant) people like the Inhumans and Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver in Age of Ultron.

The whole wanting enhanced people on a list will be covered in the next few Marvel films surely? To make way for what happens in Captain America: Civil War?
Which will lead to Avenger level heroes need to be on the list.

Some great moments for Skye/Daisy this week. Loved her John Wick style take down of a room full of Hydra agents and her brutal burn of Raina - " I thought her gift was spinning really fast and collecting gold rings. "

Bear in mind that the enhancement explanation is an avoidance of using the term mutant. You'll notice that both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in Ultron are referred to as enhanced thus avoiding that 20th Century Fox issue.

Good episode again.

I too absolutely loved the single shot of Skye taking the lab. Awesome stuff.

Looks like they are setting up the Age Of Ultron tie in for next week. The quick trail at the end for next week said it was a 2-hour season finale.

i understood it as there's one left before the 2 hour season finale, which i also think i read was a 'part one' meaning a cliff hanger.

great episode this week. the single shot of skye this was outstanding. really loved all the AOU tie in stuff too.

I think next week is episode 20 and the following week is episodes 21 and 22 back to back as the season finale.

Yeah I checked and there's one more before the double episode finale.

I only assumed that because the US broadcast I watched had a trail for next week's episode which said it was a two hour finale. Or I may have misunderstood/misheard.

yeah, just double checked instead of guessing. there's an episode next week, and the week after (12th May) is the two hour season finale, which is episodes 21 (part 1) and 22 (part 2) back to back.

The Skye one-take was great but a bit unbelievable she suddenly becomes as good as Agent May or Black Widow out of nowhere. In all her training scenes she's shown to have her ass handed to her by everyone

It was a bit of a jump in quality. She's done ok in the field before but not to that level.

Yeah I wondered how she had become that good. Would have made more sense if she took them all out with her new powers.
