Lost: A Tale of Survival (Sky One recap of S1+2 of Lost)

Did anyone watch this?
Quote:
An insider's look at the acclaimed drama series, examining the island and its mysteries and featuring the characters' back stories.
I thought it was quite good as it recapped most things from Seasons 1+2 that they think are important, what was interesting was what they didnt focus on / recap - I guess those things will be ignored going forward.

I think this was shown in the US as a prequel to Series three.

I saw bits of this, my Dad watched the whole thing and swears there are scenes with the second group that weren't in series 2. I highly doubt this, he is getting old! Can anyone confirm?

Watched this just to see my first bit of HD Lost and was just blown away!

It looks even more amazing than I thought it could, especially in the outside scenes

Can't wait for Sunday now

Was this the thing that was narrated by Ben[ry] (Michael Emerson)? I think I caught some of it the other night.

Yes, although for E4 / Sky viewers can we call him Ben yet or is he still just "Not Henry Gale"

I was sure there was stuff I hadn't seen before .... but then we are talking approximately 50 hours worth of TV.

Having said that - if Sky just showed this US "recap" show in full, didn't Channel 4/E4 show cut versions of what was aired in the US ??

Yeah, it was quite useful, my wife watched it in preparation for S3 starting as she's hardly seen any of it so far.

Is this true? Hadn't heard this before, another reason to splash out on the DVDs!

C4 only cut the first episode for gore, as far as I know nothing else was cut from it.

They cut quite a bit more than that IIRC. I believe they cut the bit where charlie gets his drugs from the plane's toilet
