it's kind of a weird show, but strangely hypnotic. The official website http://www.lazytown.com/ has the 'cooking by the book' song which would win the Eurovision song contest. I wonder how many kids & adults who watch the show get the message about exercise though?

I think a lot of it does get in their heads, girl I work with's 3 year old daughter watches it every day, ask if she wants a treat and she asks for sports candy, and she cant sit still when its on or when its just finished supposedly.

Most of the kids I have seen who are regular watchers all seem to be very energetic, I'd like to think it was down to the show.

I have a daughter who ... used to love it.

She has now moved on to Doodlebops and, just started this week, Wonder Pets - which is truly awful, but she seems to like it !!!

I've been off work a lot . There's only so much Jeremy Kyle and the Right Stuff you can manage in a day.

My two eldest (5 and 2) love Lazytown and having had to sit through a great many episodes, it's heart is definitely in the right place. Happy, fun, promoting healthy living - all the things we should be telling our kids.

Mind you, I did have a hell of a job convincing my 5 year old daughter that having her hair dyed pink like Stephanie wouldn't go down too well at school

That chap Magnus who's behind the whole thing - the man's a genius. Watch the opening and closing credits for the show. Creator, actor, writer, producer, director, composer. Good on him!

I saw this a while ago........appears to be about a paedophile who hangs around with a 8 year old girl in a pink wig (very "Closer") whilst someone tries to stop him unsuccessfully.

No-one has acknowledged the truly awesome Robbie Rotten! Surely this guy should be in line for an Oscar!
The best character on childrens TV for a while (apart from Bus Driver Bob)!

And yes, I have a 2 year old!

I'm sure Bus Driver Bob and Mazz (if that's the right spelling) are getting it on !!! Mind you I am surprised she's alive since she spends most of the time stuck in a wall cavity.
