Veronica Mars 3x07 - Of Vice and Men **spoilers**

Ok so the big secret... burning a place in Mexico and running.

Veronica almost being raped, that was weird, surprised "(s)he" managed to get so much done with Logan running towards her, but surely any young girl knows to never leave your drink alone anywhere - but then that's mostly alcoholic drinks.... seemed risky though in the middle of the cafeteria?

"NO TOUCHING".... made me laugh

"What Would Stan Marsh say?" also made me laugh.

The other storyline, forgot it already. No Mac / Basketball dude. Emo dude is still annoying.

Although Keith's possible storyline seems to be getting somewhere...

But I'm speculating that the next big story will be:
Speculation

You think Veronica would of put 2 + 2 together when her vision become very blurred in the cafeteria. I guess it messes up your reasoning

Good episode, I bet it was the hairy legged feminists that got kicked out getting revenge on Veronica. Piz is still annoying and needs a kicking.

Did anyone else think the Meryl girl was

Lots of Vinnie this episode, including the Vinnie Special and Vinnie to the rescue, as our heroine's first rescuer. And what is it with V needing to be rescued twice in one episode?

Logan steps up again as V treats him badly yet again. Getiing really bored with bitch!Veronica, she's not meant to be all ugar and spice but nor is she particlualry enjoyable to watch as an outright bitch. Though I'm not hopefull that she's going to mend her ways soon. I wont be surprised if Logan doesn't dump her soon over her attitude soon. Cue screams from the LoVe fanatics.

I too don't think V drugger/shaver was the rapist. I think its the femnazis seeking revenge upon our hero.

Thats an interesting spec 36Degrees

I was thinking possibly that - because this episode shows the sequence of events is shaving first, then rape (assuming that was the motive).

However, that would contradict what happened to Mac's Roomie with the "buzzing sound" after "humping" (or during?). Or give greater gravitas towards the rapist being female, depending on how one wants to interpret it.

Good episode. Not sure how this is going to end but some good stuff the past couple of weeks. Still thinking (currently) I prefer the season long mystery tho...

The series seems to be picking up now, which is good, though it doesn't have the stronger impact of the coach crash mystery from S2.

Future series, Veronica joins the FBI..?

http://sepinwall.blogspot.com/2006/1...son-order.html

Just heard from Rob Thomas, and the CW has given "Veronica Mars" a back seven instead of the traditional back nine. This is obviously brand-new information for them, so it'll take a while to figure out how this will affect the later two arcs. (My guess: since they're already at work on arc #2, the last one will take the biggest hit.)

This is good news, certainly for this season, and I don't know that the slightly reduced order is a big danger sign for the possibility of a fourth season. The CW hasn't been as successful out of the gate as expected, and they may be looking to pinch pennies until they get through to next year. Or maybe I'm just being naively optimistic. Wouldn't be the first time.

UPDATE: Rob says he's still trying to figure things out, but as of now, the plan is to do a four-episode arc for the end of the season.

Given Veronica's history with federal law enforcement I would be amazed if they ever let her out of Quantico. She screwed over the ATF agent who was manufacturing terrorist plots and ran rings around the FBI helping her kidnapping ex skip the USA.

I have to admit that it would be sweet seeing Veronica bump into Lucy Lawless's FBI agent again - who knows maybe its a cunning plan to get her to give up Duncan Kane's hideout.

Yeah that was a bit wierd. I think the dialog was mistimed so
it didn't come over right. I think we're meant to assume that
the lady companions may have been trapped inside? or other
locals were in danger....? I can't imagine Logan trying to
hide accidental arson in the way he did.

Yes, I hear they've been forced to drop two episodes, so the writers will have to condense the second main story arc.

I believe the last arc will only be four episodes now.

CW has under performed on its expectations so they are
tightening the strings.
