Bullitt Blu-Ray bitrate

Why on earth don´t they encode it higher.
This is a Dual-layer BD 50 Gb disc.
Bullitt is coded DD AC3 2.0 192Kbps
They simply use the DVD mix.
Also The Searchers is the same, BD 50 GB disc, DD AC3 1.0 192Kbps
Ok they would argue a mono mix doesn´t need higher but hey you got plenty of room.

well my rant is over
Cheers

It's always nice to have the original audio rather than a horrible remix - which I salute Warners for on the discs you mention - but yeah, it'd be great to have it represented by something better than lossy 192kbps DD.

Well the original audio on Bullitt was mono so the original is missing.
But they could have released this as PCM at least, not this lossy crap
