The most interesting thing for me is they have kept in set in the 30's. I had no idea if this was a remake or "reimagining".

Lots of time to fix the cgi, I guess, but Lion, Witch and Wardrobe sfx looked a lot better. Only comparing the two as they are due about the same time.

To all those worried about the CG being 'crap' or whatever, take a look at the two pictures in this article from AICN. Worry not. I think they look amazing, seeing them move with all the detail we know WETA is capable of will be even better. Christmas can't get here fast enough...

I've got it saved on my Sky+ now The living room shakes when playing it. No one was in either side of me this afternoon, so I cranked it right up. Can not wait to see this movie at the end of year.

I thought the trailer looked amazing, Kong looked natural, the only thing I noticed was a size discrepancy, in one of the shots he looks small compared to the surroundings but in another he looked huge, maybe that was just me though.

Woah, those hir-res shots look awesome! Couldn't see any of that fine hair detail on the big screen at my local.

Just saw the trailer and have to say that it looks absolutely awesome. Love the last bit with Kong roaring.

This was just what I was hoping for. It takes me back to the Dinsosaaur films from my childhood where you had King Kong vs T-rex going at each other.

Looks like a cross between Jurassic Park and King Kong.

I personally can't wait for december.

Just watched it, confirmed for me that Jack Black seems like a really bad choice for this film. Anybody else think he just isn't serious enough for a role like this?

From what I saw, he looked good enough.

Oh, I watched (for my sins) Queen Kong over the weekend. What a waste of my life that was.

I think this will be a breakthrough film for him personally. show his serious side to acting instead of previously mostly comedic performances with a small dash of seriousness.

after all Tom Hanks started out as a stand up comedian.......

and dial up ??????? d-i-a-l u-p !!!??!!! when you live in a telewest area (as well as ADSL)...
