Just seen the teaser. Blimey, you actually see him. I thought they were gonna keep him covered up for the final trailers, but I guess not.
The film looks good. Kong's face in the last shot looks a bit too CG for my liking though

Looks good, I like the 'old wise man' look with the grey slightly long side burns

Not sure what I was expecting, but somehow this trailer doesn't get me terribly excited. It looks like this Kong does stay religously close to the original, Naomi Watts even looks exactly like Fay Wray, but the CGI immediately reminds me of the Jurassic Park films and the Mighty Joe Young remake. It's all a bit been there, done that.

Can we have some Mighty Joe comparison pictures?

On one of the docs on the ROTK EE you can see a clay bust of Kong's head over Randy Cook's shoulder.

I would assume that many of those effects shots aren't complete, because the CG looks pretty nasty in many of them. The dinosaurs don't sit well in the environment, seems to be a colour issue. We know WETA Digital are capable of better. The film itself looks fantastic though!

This does look incredibly good from the trailer. I'm surprised they've shown so much in this early trailer - I think I might have to avoid any future ones from now on if I can. It looks like they got the right cast, Jack Black and Naomi Watts look like they will be perfect in their roles
I know I've just turned 40 but I believe Kong may well... "rock!"

Wow looks fantastic, and i know it will get better and better. Really getting the feeling i had when LOTR came out. Something to look forward to Christmas then.
Any Idea what PJ next film is? (After KK)

Rumoured to be an adaptation of the Alice Seabold book 'The Lovely Bones'. Very dark, but potentially very them (his writing team.)

Apparently it's going to be an adaptation of the bestselling novel The Lovely Bones. Sounds more in The Heavenly Creatures mold.
Edit: beaten to it by ohood.
