The Killers tomorrow at Brixton. Excited to see them in a smaller venue. Was going to try for Liam Gallagher but a bit tight this month - but looks back on form.

Have Foo Fighters next week, Paul Draper, Starsailor and Alter Bridge lined up. Trying to get a ticket for Ryan Adams at the Royal Albert Hall, as that's going to be awesome.

The Killers were awesome - seemed to be far more people in there than the 5k capacity.

Got tickets to Ryan Adams at the Royal Albert Hall - so him, Foos and Paul Draper next week.

Saw King Creosote doing a bunch of Coldplay, Roxy Music, Tears For Fears and Michelle Shocked covers in Crail on Thursday. Not much else on the horizon apart from Richard Thompson next month.

Moved to Crail 6 months ago and have to admit I've not seen KC live yet even though he plays every other week. Was the pub pretty packed?

Yeah, fairly busy as it is free on Thursdays. It was quieter in a Sunday when its Ł10. Great fun though - he performed the second set of indie diva covers in full drag and a garish plastic mannequin mask. I'll post a photo when I get a minute.

You should go! I've travelled from Cardiff twice in 4 months!

It was scarier in real life - proper wicker man vibe

Dunno why that hasn’t worked

Managed to get tickets to see the Gallagher brothers at Newcastle Arena.... Liam on 1st November, and Noel on 3rd May next year!

However, going to New York on February, and Noel is playing Radio City Music Hall the week we are there, and very tempted to get tickets for that gig too.

Went to see Metallica last week. We were right at the front, which was some experience. Couple of photos from my phone...(hope these links work)

We went to see Nell Bryden in Leeds last week at the Belgrave. Literally the smallest cosiest gig I’ve ever been to! There was less than 40 of us there and very one was sitting on leather sofas! She performed admirably though despite so few of us.

Fickle Friends at O2 Forum Kentish Town last week was pretty wicked. They're doing the best pop music right now and headlining that venue before they even have a debut album out is a great achievement and testament to the strength of their tunes!

Coming up, still got:

Julia Jacklin (for the 3rd time) at Shep Bush Empire
Gurr (for the 2nd time) at Moth Club
Wolf Alice (for the 4th time) at Ally Pally
Cults at The Garage
Alvvays (for the 3rd time) at Roundhouse

Highly recommend them all!

Saw Liam Gallagher at Newcastle Arena last night, and the gig/he was brilliant!

His voice/singing was spot on, and the setlist was cracking, with a decent mix of tracks from his album and Oasis classics.... no Beady Eye though!

Finished his encore with Live Forever, which I think was a change up from Wonderwall from the previous couple of nights in Ireland.

His band are pretty decent too - the lead guitarists doing well on the Oasis tracks.

Next up, Noel next May.... though I am toying with the idea of seeing him In New York when we are there for a week in February, too.

Went to see the mighty Cud band in Birmingham last weekend - due to double booking was 5.30 - 9.30 (felt like a school disco) - it was raining on the inside and with Carl's posturing and head back singing; he came a cropper with a mouth full ceiling rain!

I felt sorry for those in next as it was a bit smelly / wet when we left - a great night!

OMD last night at Sheffield City Hall - truly fantastic. Great set and Andy McClusky prances around for a man way younger then his years.

Good blend of old and new and tightly performed.

Alice Cooper, The Mission & The Tubes for me this weeknd. Should be fun.

I've also added a couple to my previous list

Kirk Brandon in Otley
Hot Snakes at the Brudenell Social Club

I had pondered getting Morrissey tickets but really can't be bothered with him any more

I’ve just got tickets to Alice Cooper next week @ Wembley from Twickets. Wanted to see him for years. Royal Blood and Royal Thunder lined up as well, the latter only to really see the support band, The Last Internationale.

Nice, never seen him play live myself. First gig in a while next week for me, Joanne Shaw Taylor at Royal Festival Hall (never seen her live before either).

Saw him support Motley Crue on their final tour and he was great. Hoping he brings the Hollywood Vampires over here next June while they're in Europe.
