Just watched the online version of this (after missing the showing on Cartoon Network). Prettyreasonable for a short cartoon, I can see that it could be a good little cartoon to watch.

The boards on TheForce.net have the links to the online version. They are freely available as a right-click, save as...type link...

They're hosted on AOL's servers, and from what I can gather, the versions used on starwars.com are linking straight to these, so IMO I don't think it's going to be illegal to post them here...

Standalone episode and Episode with commentary

Feel free to remove if deemed T+C unfriendly, but IMO since these links are the official freely available ones used by starwars.com, they are not pirated versions, and hence available to the public domain...

IMO this is no different to d/ling trailers etc, since they have been made available as direct targets for download.

Just watched. Very disappointing animation style. It just looks lazy. The really bad editing on the music is pretty pornographic too

Thanks FlangeMonkey.

BTW, I loved the first episode, but it was just waaaaayyyyy too short. It felt like a trailer for the series, rather than the opening episode. I hope that when viewed together it will work better.

I really don't remember anything about a story. There were bits of fighting and a discussion on whether anikin should go with obi-wan but that's all folks.

Should I watch this before I see Attack of the clones or after?

Well, the events in the TV series are supposed to take place between Episodes 2 and 3, so IMO you should watch AOTC first, although to be fair, I wouldn't imagine it would make as much difference if you watched Ep.2 first then the Clone Wars, as watching the films out of order...

Personally I really like it, but then I like Samurai Jack as well.

They are too short though!

How refreshing to see it animated mostly by traditional 2-D methods, there's some CGI in it, but you can hardly tell (and you can't say that about the recent films )

Anyone got the links to the hi-res Quicktime versions of Chapter 2 like the Ch1 ones I posted earlier?

Changing the portion of the path to chapter2 doesn't seem to work, so the individual .movs must have different odd filenames...

I thought it was as bad as episode 1 and 2.

Why such rubbish animation?? All browns and cream. Didn't they have any more crayons?

A cgi toon would be much better.

Perhaps its just me, but Star Wars, doesn't have the appeal it did only a few short yeras ago

Well, I have just seen the first and second parts and thought they were great!

However it is very annoying watching it in 3 minute pieces...

Hi Ho Folks!

I liked the episodes even if I did find them too short.

Maybe they will be edited together later for a release on DVD or something.

I too like Samurai Jack But often I find it too long and it seems just to go on and on with no conclusion till it's cancelled and even then there might be no finale.

At least The Clone Wars will draw to a close (Ep3) and has a consistent story maybe Samurai Jack could learn from that.

YaY!

Well I've seen the first ep (thanks to FlangeMonkey), but I just found it a bit too short to form much of an opinion on. Any word on whether any of the UK channles are planning a "marathon" in the not too distant future?

From what I've seen though, I predict the series will end with

They will be released as a 60 minute toon eventually. But that'll be next year I imagine.
