Looking for Jurassic Park (DTS) Corrected.

Does anyone know of any online retailers (except for DVD Emipre), that can gurantee you receive a copy of the film with the corrected DTS soundtrack?

Thanks

Nick

I got mine from play and it wasn't corrected, only just found out though (and a bit late to send it back).

I think I should have put this in the supplier forum.

In my experience the answer is no.

I've emailed A&BSounds, DVDBoxoffice, Play and Amazon, all of whom can't gaurantee they can supply the corrected version. The problem is there's no easy way of distinguising the two versions unless you look at the actual disc, the packaging doesn't say anything.

I'm pleased to tell you that Universal Home Video , via their Marketing Department in Dallas , sent me a replacement disc which I received to-day - no Amaray-type case, just the disc in a clear CD-type case - and really well protected

Send them an e-mail to Universal Home Video in America, like I did, and I hope they'll help you too.

When did you buy your copy of the disc? I've had mine for nearly two years.

Both www.discemporium.com and www.pictureparadise.co.uk will guarantee JP dts is the corrected version. Just make sure you advise them of your wish.

Cornelius,

I purchased this R1 DTS disc 2 weeks ago from a Canadian supplier...I new nothing of the rumpus in R1-land...until I put a posting on DVDtalk's site saying how top-end it was.

The replies advised me to get in touch with Universal ......and they sent me the "D2R2" coded second pressing that has the corrected DTS track. (Faulty disc is "D2R1".)

They didn't ask me to show a receipt of any kind - or when I bought it.

They've sent me the replacement disc without question.

Hope it helps you.

Did they send the disc on its own or with case & sleeve etc?

They sent the disc only, protected in a clear plastic CD case, really well protected in a carton full of packing granules.

(Not sure if I'm to return the duff copy - they haven't asked!)
