yeah main event was superb. They played it all so perfectly. Rollins is awesome and will have a great future.

The event as a whole was far better than it looked on paper, glad I watched it live.

Shame it was outside/in an open top arena though! 75,000 people made to sound like barely 10,000. And Wyatts lantern entrance with the sun pretty much beaming down was't quite as effective as usual. Silly decision not to start it all a couple of hours later!

Highlight for me was probably The Rock and Ronda Rousey. Imagine her in the Divas

EDIT: Thought I'd add... product placement in the US is unreal isn't it? Presenters all having ice cold bottles of Mountain Dew in front of them, the giant Coca Cola sign at the top of the stadium, the ridiculous Terminator Genisys entrance!

They announced 76,000, but in typical WWE style, it apparently wasn't anywhere near that. They just come up with a number that they know the Superbowl can't beat.

It was probably the right choice to have Rollins do the dirty and steal the belt as Reigns just does not have enough of the crowd/fanbase behind him to carry the title as a face right now.

But now they have Orton gunning for the belt again in his feud with Seth, so let's hope they don't dig themselves in a storyline hole and now that the IC and US titles are elevated from Mid Card let Reigns carry one of them when Cena or Bryan drop the belts to get the audience to warm to the idea of him carrying the title down the line instead of pushing him hard and in their faces.

Only seen this news. RIP Roddy.

He was one of the best heels in the game, and one of the stars I grew up watching. Sadly there is only a few of them left

WWE sure know how to do tributes

I met him last year on his wonderfully powerful UK stage talk tour, almost a year exactly before he died, pretty awful news to say the least when I first read it when I woke the other day.

His podcast the last month or so and the whole strange situation has seen him angry beyond words, so he went out like he started with fire in his heart I guess.

Anyone go to the UK house tour. We were at the Leeds show, some surprisingly good matches. We had Ric Flair open the show (but not appear again for some reason), with Dudley Boys in a tag tables match and a Kane vs. Big Show street fight.

Thinking about trying the WWE Network over Christmas, they are advertising a free month's trial. Anyone got it, is it as good as it seems - complete archive of WWE, WCW and ECW PPVs - do the events have their original entrance themes (some DVDs have cut out or overdubbed entrance music).

I went to the Birmingham one, saw the same show you did, I thought it was ace.

Also have the network and I think it's brilliant. Not watched too much old stuff actually, DDPs entrance would be a good one to check as WWE didn't buy his music but I've not noticed any over dubbing.

The network is decent value for the current product, seeing as you get all of the PPVs, NXT, the special shows, etc. (except the weekly tv shows until a few weeks later), but I think it could be better for the historical stuff. There's lots of gaps in the Raw, Nitro, ECW archive, and they really need to get every episode of Superstars, Prime Time, etc on there. The same goes with WCW tv and all of the other promotion libraries that they own.

They definitely don't have the license for ECW entrance music.

Not going to the WWE house but I am going to NXT in Wembley managed to get front row and VIP (brother works for SSE) looking forward to it. I've had the network for 6 months as above great for PPVs and weekly NXT which IMO is better than the current product on Raw and Smackdown. As I use Unblock US for Netflix I managed to get the network at the US price so around Ł6 a month which is well worth it. The Heyman doc is good haven't gotten round to watching the older WCW or ECW stuff yet.

Of the PPVs on the network, I'd recommend watching the WCW Great American Bash from 1996. I'd forgotten how great that show was, because all anyone remembers from that period was the next PPV (Bash at the Beach with the Hogan turn).

I did watch one recently which was the new blood vs the old hands ppv, and the JJ Ready to Rumble cage match ones. Not good. I remember at the time when I only had TNT to watch Nitro and not the ppvs that the time in WCW was not good at all.
