I like that too! It turns out they did the theme tune to Sneaky Pete too which I enjoyed recently!

Yeah, read that shortly after hearing the album. As well as Spotify and the usual places, the whole album is available on YouTube.

I'm listening to Goldray's Rising album, psychedelic rock from the ex-Reef guitarist. Can't figure out how to embed a video:

Thanks Rob. I tried that and previewed the post but it didn't show the video so I thought that I hadn't done it correctly.

This week it's all about Sheer Mag - Need to feel your love.

A weird mix of 70's rock, Disco, Punk and indie with dreadful production but is some how ace.

Paul Drapers first solo album Spooky Action, I am actually very impressed. Its been 15 years since the end of Mansun but the former front man of this much under rated band has done a great job, Seeing him on tour next month which should be good.

Had Black Grape - Pop Voodoo album playing in the car all week.
A great grower of an album, which is just as well as I pre-orders the coloured signed vinyl a while back which has now turned into a keeper

OMD - Punishment of Luxury and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - The Echo of Pleasure. Both great.

Got Mogwai and LCD SS next to get into.

Bought a bunch of stuff recently but I can't seem to stop playing the Prophets of Rage album. Having been a P.E. fan since about 1988, and also Cypress Hill, Rage and Audioslave, I have to say it does exactly what you would expect but does it well. Chuck still sounds great. I know the music snobs will hate it but I don't care, I think it's awesome.

I like it as well but all the reviews I've read have been lukewarm. Not sure what they were expecting but it sounds great to me and I thought they were superb at Download this year.

I'm also enjoying the latest Gun album Favourite Pleasures, it's way better than I expected and their best since Swagger.

Also today I received my Black Sabbath, The Ten Year War boxset and it's a thing of beauty. The splattered coloured vinyls look really nice and sound very good although my wife thinks I look silly wearing my Crucifix shaped Black Sabbath USB stick but hey what does she know

The new Wolf Alice record is very good.A rare thing of a promising British band delivering on the promises on the debut and then some. I think this band are here for the long run.

Stylistically it's all over the shop with songs starting off sounding like The Sundays then morphing into slowdive and then some how ending up like the smashing pumpkins!

Really enjoying this album too, you've nailed how it sounds.

Listened to the Liam Gallagher album and its OK. There's some catchy melodies on it and a couple of really good tracks.... he's clearly improved a lot as a songwriter but its nothing new and really sounds like MOR, average, late-era Oasis stuff. Although sales wise it seems to be kicking up a storm.

Couldn't have put it any better. It's certainly much improved over the Beady Eye material but falls far short of peak Oasis...
