Media Streaming - is there such a device?

Now that I am (hopefully) getting rid of my IPOD I am going to miss going to sleep and waking up to my playlists or favourite albums.

Is it possible to get a device that will sit on my bedside table, and stream music wirelessly from my PC? One that will wake me up to my favourite playlist, and hopefull let me go to sleep to one too? Basically a streaming clock / radio thing?

Does such a thing exist?

Philips make a clock radio (Philips Streamium WAK3300) that does this, but it's a little expensive.
