Junior Senior - novelty gone yet?

Well I still like listening to Junior Senior, although some people tell me they are sick of them now. Anyway, I've just their reviewed debut album at CD Times.

Anyone hear still play D-D-D-Don't Stop The Beat?

Mr Stanton likes them.

Good cheesy three minute pop tunes.

Although thier 15 minutes might now be up.

No way! I thought it was even better than Move Your Feet.

Didn't like the album at all when I first heard it, but I gave it a second chance and it sounded so much better. Not listening to it much at the moment - it's kind of a seasonal album (i.e. late Spring/Summer)

I'm afraid the novelty wore off after 30 seconds of the first time I heard them.

Just listening to the album now. Freaky...
I like the album, but didn't realise there was a novelty to wear off. They haven't done much (any?) promotion over here

Don't even mention that name on here! I thought Junior Senior were pretty awful, but they look like Led Zep compared to a fat bloke whose act consists of him taking his clothes off accompanied by a beat box....

Who? I vaguely remember something about them from way back in the distant past...

One hit wonders really aren't they?

For me they are the worst band of the year. Absolutely shocking.

Their big hit was one of my favourite singles of the year. Every time i hear it, it gives me a little smile.
Catchy number which did not try to be anything else.

Just come on here after hearing "that" song again. I have re-evaluated it. I think its the worst thing i've ever heard. Seriously not just of the year, but ever. Truely horrible it made be want to smash my speakers. The next time I hear it out i'm leaving i don't think I could sit through that all the way through without smashing something.

Now you CAN'T be talking about Move Your Feet - one of the best tracks of the year for me - but I also lurve Rythym Bandits, but not as much.

I think they're great, although I've not given the LP as much time as I would have liked so far. One thing I have noticed though is that it's great stuff for running/jogging to!
