Get your Time Bandits DVD quick!!!

The BBFC have got wind of the 'F' word that shouldn't have been in the commentary track, (for a PG rating)and they may withdraw it.

So buy em quick before they go.

Ah, I may well do that then [despite the lip synch slip with the 5.1 track]... hang on, they may fix the problem for the reissue... Hm...

Oh it's too late to think.

do the BBFC not have to 'pass' commentary tracks? this is the second instance i know of (bridget jones) where a commentary track has broken their own guidelines...

It's a grey area (generally). Commentary tracks don't 'have' to be submitted, depending on the context, but the theory here is that the commentary wasn't submitted to the BBFC in the first place so they are looking into it, and may take action.

Why not wait for 6 months, then pick it up for around £7 new at PLAY?
The comentry could be cut by then, but for £7 who gives a F:norty: :norty:K

I'm one of the biggest Criterion fans here, but even I can see that the Anchor Bay disc absolutely kicks its arse in every department!

Just finished watching R2 UK Time Bandits, I noticed no lip sync problems on the DD5.1 track
