Safety car nonsense. Why not do a VSC like earlier? Norris had parked next to a crane

Such a shame for Norris to DNF as he was having a strong race.

I'm not convinced Red Bull are as much of a threat as Hamilton believes them to be given the gap he pulled out after the safety car.

That was a really nice gesture of the Schumacher family to give away one of Michael's helmets.

He’ll put it along side the Senna helmet he got in Canada when he matched his poles

I'm amazed Grosjean has lasted so long.... And been paid a salary! I can't see anyone giving him a seat any time soon/again.

I’d always assumed he had something over Guenther

Thinking back to that famous episode of Drive to Survive always makes me chuckle

And Grosjean talking to Renault to partner Alonso!? I can see how that would appeal to Alonso, a solid no 2 driver that won't trouble him, but I just think Roman has had his chance and he should make way for some young blood.

Qualifying is delayed for 30 minutes whilst they continue the drain inspections, after a drain cover came loose in FP3.

The F1 2020 Thread

It’s getting a bit ridiculous now, why didn’t they check this weeks ago? The odd one sure but it looks like they’ve got dozens to do

You'd think there ought to be a standard type of drain cover that's massively over engineered to the extent that it cannot break away that would be mandatory for getting the grade 1 licence.

Easily I would have thought unless they cancel further races.

Got to hand it to F1, they've done a decent job of keeping the season going.

I'm watching about 5 mins in delay but it's been a really fun race so far for multi-corner battles.

TV is doing a really good job with the elevation changes which doesn't always come across properly.

I'd happily keep this place and Mugello on the calendar for the future.
