If he's missing for any number of premiership games we are going to get embarrassed

Romero keeps it 0-0, fair play.

Memphis much more comfortable at this level.

Another 'meh' performance all round though.

If the Club had any brains, they'd get rid of LVG and get someone in for next Thursday so they can shift some of the thousands of unsold tickets

Incredible that he's not already been sacked. We're turning into a ******* version of Arsenal.

It reminds me of Wolves' current situation. The manager is clearly out of his depth, the performances are rubbish and results are sporadic. Yet he seems to survive.

Different situations given the money LVG has spent but still.

When all is said and done, it's no disaster, 1-0 at home and we're good. Same for Liverpool. Would have preferred Spurs result, but hey.

It's not a disaster to lose to a team that hasn't played for 2 months, had only won once in their last 10 games and got turned over 9-1 by Napoli in the group stages??????

And as a one off match you are right. Plenty of awful away performances in Europe under Sir Alex. But its maybe the 20th awful performance this season (im not counting) and yet another loss to a team we should beat. Loss after loss, but at least we had the most possession...

Without a doubt my lowest point as a United supporter. Tuning into games now feels like court appointed punishment for a crime I've committed.

Higher ups seem to be a proud we aren't a supposed sacking club, but it's just making us look like a bunch of fools now.

I mean, it used to be just be mainly Liverpool vs. United banter for a bit of fun... but we're quite literally the laughing stock for everybody now.

Sigh.

He'll be gone in the summer I'm sure. Although you do think a new manager even if it is a temp could do something at this late stage. I'd guess they've agreed a deal for Jose, who wants to start in the summer.

It's a difficult one, if a deal is already done, who comes in? Giggs? What if he does as well as he can do? He could win the UEFA Cup, get them into the CL, and he's still out the door in the summer. If he messes up, the door is closed as a future manager.

There doesn't seem to be that much that can be done, if they were going to sack him it should have been at Christmas. Now you're stuck with him.
